Very interesting for the West Country who are considered to be the back water
I wish we had a chairman with a vision for a £100m new Stadium....o just a minute ...we have
Anything not to do with Rovers is irrelevant.

Well Bristol Rovers related or not it sounds a good scheme. Perhaps we could turn the Mem into a wind farm, I mean there's plenty of hot air rising from there most weeks and with Chewy's fish tank in place we'd make a fortune.

Dale Vince is a pointless little man in charge of a pointless little club. Best wishes. Like Maxim Demin?

Seems most FGR fans are "for" rather than "against" the plans on their forum. Although it seems it's an old story anyway.
As far as posters saying FGR are a small irrelevant club what's the betting they are in a new ground whilst we're still stuck at the Mem? Then they'll go a Burton and sail past us!

I quite like stuck at the Mem. It's a warm place to be, walking distance for many, communal as in shops, eateries and drinking establishments, and easy public transport access.
I don't have any delusions of grandeur, we are Bristol Rovers, not c*ty. Some of those folk really are deluded.
Good luck to fgr and any other club that gets new ground. It's not happening for us for whatever reason, but at least we got a home. I'm gonna make the most of it by turning up at home as much as I can..

And truly reflective of club and supporters devoid of vision and ambition. You get what you deserve I guess.

Get real, we are lowly Bristol Rovers. Doesn't mean we aren't proud. Or want better. We can live in hope, rather than expectation..

However if one is involved in professional, competitive, sport and charging a fair wack to customers then to be devoid of both is pathetic.

In that case, to bring it full circle, there should be a concerted campaign to get Mr Tricity on board, with his non pathetic approach?

Like or dislike, agree or disagree, with this guy you cannot deny he has a vision, an ambition, and it looks like a strategy. I would defy anyone to define those three elements as espoused by our BoD? And you are letting them get away with it.

As long as I've supported Rovers, there's been a seed of contention in the board. I'm critical when I feel it suits, but I support the club and team. I'm realist, I feel we have a natural place and are way below it atm. And I'm gonna support. If that's letting anyone get away with it, then so be it.

The fact of the matter is box 1 either do not have the money, or do not wish to finance a new ground themselves, which is perfectly understandable; in that case, simply stand aside and let somebody else run the club. Simply spending unnecessary money on a fruitless appeal is financially suicidal for BRFC. What is Higgs and Boycies plan B ? I know, they do not have one. UTG
