How long has he been over Guernsey ? Need to look at the detail, but based on what Georgie just said, it won't affect Lansdown. If he has any children hiding under his status but who are still resident in the UK then they may have to either pay more or move to St Peter Port.

No, he's non resident. These rules will effect UK resident, non-domiciles. People like Abramovich may be looking to move though

So why have they just increased spending by £10b ? To pay for treating malnourished poor people who can't afford to eat?

So they've only just thought of it was in the Labour manifesto? Why did they not put this forward as a policy during the election campaign? Don't really get your NHS comparison tbh

In my opinion would make Labour unelectable given the way the electorate have just voted. If they didn't like Milliband they certainly won't like Corbyn. Probably only second to Michael Foot in that respect.

Wait for the new constituancy boundary changes, in theory to bring each constituancy nearer to having an equal number of voters, in reality, to mean that the Conservatives are going to have to make an unholy mess of things for us to have another Labour government any time soon.

If I recall they tried this in Coalition but got pushed back by LD's. Guess no reason not to give it another go now - not sure if/when they can find Parliamentary time for it though. There is currently a bias against Tories in boundaries as I understand it.
