I'm a 90's-00's glory hunter - been to a few games, but nowhere near as many as the Gas.
Also like Yate Town.

Celtic for me, I worked up there in the 90's and went to watch a game with a colleague and got hooked. Short story, my first game was at CP against Hearts, before the stadium was rebuilt. My colleague warned me about how rough the ground was standing on the jungle and all, it didn't bother me, and after the game talking about it, I had to tell him it was nothing compared to Twerton with crappy uneven terracing, uneven pitch, rain pouring through the 'roof' with puddles everywhere! Haha, happy days. Celtic are my first team I am gas because my family settled here but I love the hoops because of my mothers family who are all massive tims they are my first love . when we were relegated i was gutted absolutely beside myself until my grandson looked up and said cheer up papa could be worse you could be a Rangers fan wise child he is but he's 100% gas

I don't have a 2nd team, never have, any team apart from Rovers is irrelevent.
Top level football bores me and England couldnt dominate a fat guy with a gag ball.

See Reading quite a lot - for geographic reasons & 2 kids who want to go to a game wit their mates. However they are gasheads 1st & we are always at the local Rovers away games and the occasional visit to the Mem. Visits to Wembley with both clubs this season demonstrated the difference btwn the clubs. Rovers fanbase is incredible!

Have gone through a few over the years but none at the moment really. I see no reason to be faithful to my second team. I somehow managed to be a non-glory hunting Liverpool fan as I supported them through the Souness and Evans eras and gave up on them before they started regularly winning things under Houillier again. I liked O'Neil's Celtic but my interest in them didn't survive the collapse of Scottish football. I was quite keen for Borough to get promoted last season for family reasons. Next year I am going to watch FC United regularly so we'll see how that goes. But at various points I used to go and watch Notts County and Bath City regularly without ever really forming an attachment.
Soft sports for loads of clubs; Hibs, Hertha Berlin, Morecambe, Orient, Atletico Madrid, Real Betis, Estudiantes.

Berwick Rangers, but lets be honest all of our second favourite team is, or soon will be, Sabadell as the 'love-in' blossoms. IPG Islaplana? Surely you should have a soft spot for CD Bala Azul (or Cartagena if yer a glory hunter)

West Ham. Liked them as a kid, been to a couple of home/away games but wouldn't buy a shirt or anything & these days barely have a clue who their next game is. Just tend to look out for the results & the action on MOTD. Dude - or should that be 'your Dudeship' or 'EL Duderino' - my favourite movie EVER! Hammers next game ARSE away in prem - no fun now no clockend for the irons to 'take' and no atmosphere at Emirates anyway.... I was in the north bank late 80s with every nutter from n5, we knew west ham would try to take it but the mighty icf got a bit of a suprise that day, sadly killing one arsenal fan one hour after the game, very brave. Many think arsenal never had a firm but talk to old leeds or everton and they will tell you about big d and the herd. Not a bad rep like some but solid enough at home if needed.

Forza Livorno!
British team - Swansea, because of what they've done and how they've done it.

After living for a few years in Doncaster and taking myn step sons to Belle Vue many times I always look out for Donny Rovers results and often refer them as my other Rovers. Other team I look out for is Shalke04 as I was stationed near Gelsenkirchen and spent a few sturday afternoons at Park Stadium.

That's terrible about the Arsenal fan v Hammers - I know all London teams had 'firms' back then including Arsenal - hope those days are over frankly....

When I was in Germany, used to travel from Hannover to Hamburg to watch St Pauli. No idea why I started to watch them as I loved Hannover.

The stabbing was in 1982,a copper was talking to me about it when Rovers played at Highbury in the league cup in 84 ( I think). Arsenal did indeed have 'a mob',they caused trouble before and after a game at Eastville in 1967,in fact I believe that was the first large scale disorder at football in Bristol. I have to say that I didn't find Arsenal very troublesome when I went there, some other London clubs were more intimidating places to visit..I did like the stadium at Highbury,a proper ground, covered home end,2 stands with terracing in front and an open end for the visitors to get wet in,happy days.

If you're going put up a song about Celtic it surely has to be the Thai Tims....One of the weirdest football related things I've seen.

yeah sorry guessed late 80s but yes it was earlier as i was talking to mate about it today, 80s are now abit of a blur. Was booked to go to munich beer fest in 84 when draw was made so missed highbury leg and was working 2nd leg so missed both. Ever year i hope gas will make fa cup 3rd round and arsenal away but never happens. Highbury was always one of the safer grounds in the 80s but if you went looking for trouble as an away fan you sometimes got a nasty suprise.
