I always like to watch Alki Larnaca when in Cyprus on holiday, but sadly they went bust a couple of years ago! Apart form them I've always like FC Barcelona (who play in the same colours as Alki).

It used to be Everton but I care about them less and less as I get older. I'd still sooner see them win, but I'm not that bothered really.

I've had Villa as my 2nd team (I think god hates me) since we played them in the FA Cup in 1993. I was 5/6 years old and at the time they were a great family club. I used to go up and play in their soccer schools before watching the game, loved it. My 1st game watching them (other than when we played them) was vs Inter Milan in the UEFA Cup. Villa won on pens. Safe to say they have dropped a bit since! They are the 2nd result I look for after Rovers, but nothing is the same as our beloved GAS!
Since I've been in Australia I've tried to be interested in Brisbane Roar in the A-League. Just isn't happening. Naff kit, rubbish football. Even though they play in a big stadium and won the league in 2014, Rovers have more chance of being a footballing superpower than them!

Soft spot for The Gooners. Otherwise I just pick generally based on being southern. Of course, any club who's supporters hate me on principle get a boo. So that's Liverpool (because I am not an idle, alcoholic whinging fanatical socialist, i just pay for them to exist) Celtic (im an English oppressor) and any north Eastern team (ditto Liverpool reasons). Man u....the original glory hunters. Man city I liked before a desert nomad who fortunately pitched his tent on some sand with oil under it bought them. Chelsea ok, at least Abromovich had to gangsta his way to riches..,.killing folks takes work!

Celtic for the same reasons as Henbury Gas, couldn't bring myself to use a red Subbuteo team.
Chelsea, probably as a result of the 'Chelsea / West Ham' chants you used to get on the Tote End.
Hertha Berlin, Roma & Bohemians (Dublin) after some cracking weekenders in those places.

We moved from Bristol to Ashtead (surrey) in 1979 when I was at the ripe old age of 14. Being too young to travel back to Bristol to see Rovers until I was old enough to pass my driving test and nick/borrow my mothers car I used to go Fetcham Grove and watch Leatherhead play. To this day I still look for their results.

West Ham. Liked them as a kid, been to a couple of home/away games but wouldn't buy a shirt or anything & these days barely have a clue who their next game is. Just tend to look out for the results & the action on MOTD. Dude - or should that be 'your Dudeship' or 'EL Duderino' - my favourite movie EVER! Hammers next game ARSE away in prem - no fun now no clockend for the irons to 'take' and no atmosphere at Emirates anyway.... Stay out of Malibu deadbeat!!

No other English teams really, like to pick a prem underdog each year so the obvious choice this season will be Bournemouth.
Like to try take in a game when I'm abroad, Besiktas and Hertha Berlin were f-king awesome so I follow their results an have a Hertha shirt and Besiktas scarf. Befriended a Napoli ultra/waiter in Naples a few years back, we talked football and he slated my (Bristolian) Liverpool fan friend and loved what I had to say about the Gas. Gunna try catch them this September if I can!
Will take a trip to Sabadell if ever in the region. In Spain tho I quite like Bilbao as they were formed by British sailors and have a Basque friend who acquainted me with them when I was a student. Shame about that splash of red tho!

Hammers next game is next week in Europe league against FC neverheardofthembefore You've never heard of Andorra? European Championship qualifiers, you've got to think West Ham have done well to sneak in there & an easy opening fixture against Andorra. Do they get San Marino or the Faroe Islands next?

Berwick Rangers, but lets be honest all of our second favourite team is, or soon will be, Sabadell as the 'love-in' blossoms.

I've been supporting Spurs with various degrees of ferocity since about 2011.
I have a massive list of soft-spot teams which consists of: Sabadell, St. Pauli, Union Berlin, Nagoya Grampus, Clapton, Mangotsfield, Bristol Manor Farm and the mighty Avonmouth.

Well I hope West Ham turn up at the right club in the return leg and don't rely on you for directions
