Gordon Bennett give us a break. Where did I say he didn't do any of the things you say he has done, where did I make any comment on flag waving F1 drivers. Just using his tax status to describe him (admittedly in a slightly derogatory fashion only because he is a sheeted). You should stick to my comments and not try to second guess what I may or may not think of tax exiles. Oh dear, you decided to bring up the man's tax status and preface it with 'scabby'. maybe say what you actually mean, then there will be less room for confusion. Do you really need to do this every time someone calls him a tax dodger, though? It's just random anti-sheed banter. You don't seem to feel the need to say 'he's not a real Duke' when someone calls him the Duke of Guernsey, and you don't feel the need to say 'his head's not really made of s***e' when someone calls him a s***head. You really don't need to defend him over this every time. It doesn't really matter what people think of tax dodger/evader/avoider/non-dom/whatever status, it's just an easy stick to hit him with. We don't really need to strictly examine the veracity of the insult every time it happens.

You don't need a visa to go to the states if you're British. He goes there to work. You need a work visa or a green card. Fair enough. Didn't realise training counted as a job.

Or maybe don't assume what I mean and second guess my views if you think it is poorly articulated on my part. Maybe ask first and I can clarify. Saves an awful lot of angst.

It's a daft stick to hit him with though, because he generates more tax each year than most pay in a lifetime.

Laughing at Bristol losing ? Struggling with that to be honest .....
Bristol were robbed by at least two appalling decisions tonight ..... The last one sending two men to the sin bin in the last few minutes to make it easier for Worcester to score having given a penalty try no less to Worcester.
Bristol were denied one in The first half ....had it been us on the end of it we would be very pissed.
i still look on Bristol with a soft spot and want them to do well .... Sadly that fades every year Lansdown has control.

Think that neatly somes up many peoples point of view. We can all empathise with the misery that the fans must be feeling at the moment even if we are not rugby fans.

We wore our away kit which is red. Trust me i would be the first to kick off if our home jersey was red. bristol wear blue which is another reason to love them! I understand hating Lansdown as his comments about crushing Rovers were crass and outrageously cockish, but Steve Lansdown is not Bristol Rugby. Bristol Rugby is Bristol. I still don't understand why Bristol Rugby don't play in their blue and white hoops, they're very distinctive and I've never accepted the TV argument from the club that they weren't allowed to wear them because they weren't photogenic, I mean what do Sale Sharks wear ? As for wearing red as the change kit, since when did Bristol Rugby ever play in red until Landsdown came along. I don't envy Bristol Rugby fans having to play in front of 6 or 7,000 fans in a 27,000 capacity stadium, the atmosphere against Rotherham in the semi final was dreadful, Dewi Morris described it as being like at a morgue.....

What a bunch of bitter and twisted twats frequent this forum. Oh dear, I think you may receive some equally vicious and obnoxious responses to your comment. This is a forum, it consists of all types of persons who express all sorts of views, don't tar all of us with the same brush thanks and I'm a long time Bristol Rugby supporter too.

Be fair. Mo Farah has trained in America for years as his coach is based there. Taking citizenship is surely just making life easier for him than getting a visa each time. how can he run for GB ?

I don't agree with that crappy play off system one bit, but it's been around for years now. Everyone knows what you have to do at the end of that season. 14 point was it? With ten mins left to play?!? Bristol can only have themselves to blame for zero discipline and throwing away yet another whole season when all was required was to see out the match.
Oh and fair play to Worcester for not giving it up, totally dead and buried with minutes to play. That must have been some pressure on the chap who kicked for promotion at the very end.
