Line in the cement time..... Forget Dover !
If in August someone had said to me Last game of the Season and there will be a chance of automatic promotion and definite access to the play offs I would have taken it without a doubt.
It may take one game ....it may take us four BUT I believe we will do it !
I am only being positive now until the deed is done.... lets post some supportive message to the Blue Boys here ... prove again we are the most faithful and true fans in football .
Lets start building OUR momentum early ... build the atmosphere for Saturday starting now . Post as many positive messages as you can !!
Come on you Blues !!

We can do it. Gateshead were impressive at our place just before Christmas. We will win our game so over to you Barnet...pressure on them as they know having been top virtually all season they would blow it in the play offs.

Gatesheads manager is a good friend of DC, so let's hope he gets his team well up for this. I said a week ago that Kiddy on their own pitch wouldn't roll over for Barnet. It took us half a game to get used to the bumpiness of the pitch, but we kept at them. Yesterday, similar pitch, rock hard and bumpy, but we didn't keep them at their own end. You invite teams to attack and sooner or later they may get lucky.
Yesterday was a case in point.this still won't be easy for Barnet, and if a Gateshead score first anything could happen.

This season, in away games, Gateshead are unbeaten against the teams currently occupying third to sixth place. Rovers are the only team in the top six to have beaten a visiting Gateshead side in a Conference game. Gateshead have lost their last two games (against Forest Green at home and Woking away), but you have to go back twenty months to the start of last season to find the last time Gateshead lost three in a row in the Conference. Stats provided only as an illustration. The past is not necessarily a guide to the future.

Anyone know if Lines is here until the end of the regular season, or for the playoffs too?

I am pretty sure the BT cameras will be at Barnet as they are in poll position , so I would imagine the Gateshead players will be up for it with their friends , families & fans back home watching. Utg.

Mildenhall Lockyer Parkes McCrystal Brown Lines Mansell Monkhouse Sinclair Harrison Taylor/Easter Just do not get Lockyer at right back, when we have one of the best attacking and pacey RBs in the league in Leadbetter? Keep it simple and play your best players, in their position.

I still fancy us to play better and be more likely to achieve our win on Saturday, being a point behind Barnet than I would have done if we currently sat a point in front of them... Odd.
What will happen in Barnet is another matter. UTG

Reverse of last season, is going to be on!
I won't be nervous, not with our game anyway as I'm sure we will win comfortably. Any nerves will only kick in if we hear that Gateshead have taken a lead or that Barnet are struggling and being held late in the game!

Alfreton will be up for it - they are fighting to stay in the league, the Gas will be nervous - I fear Barnet will not let slip again. I now hope to be proven wrong and this post is shoved down my throat by an elated Mrs BC, who told me I am to negative [gulp] ...... UTG

True, but that will count for nothing on the day.
Look at how Villa dismantled a cocky Liverpool yesterday?
I am sure the Gas will be fine, but nothing can be taken for granted.

Not being funny but if we can't beat alfreton at home we don't deserve to be in play offs,if we don't win Saturday I will be disgusted no matter what the Barnet score will be We should be up for it even more than them we are full time club and we are 2nd in the league for a reason We should smash them, score early and send a message to those cockney tossers that we want it more than them Let's get behind all of them and make it a intimidating atmosphere whether it be one game or 4 I don't want play offs and don't want wembley can't take it these last 2 seasons are killing me Utg
