We need to just treat it like a winnable home game against struggling opposition.
If Gateshead do us a favour, great. If not, it's a good warm-up for the play-offs.

That's not only positive, it's realistic as well.

I'd like to think he would put out a settled side but as we've not got one who knows who'll be in the team but we can definitely do this, Come on Rovers, Come on the Pirates, Come on Gas ps.... Come on Gateshead too

Sorry but no way will Sinclair be ready for any play off game, not match fit when we need every player to be 100%+. Makes no difference as we will win on sat and gateshead will score it the last min to make it 1-1!

If we can concede in the last few minute to make us all feel suicidal until Monday morning then it's only right Barnet do the same to their fans as well

I think that we will do it on Saturday. An early goal from Ellis will rattle Barnet, and we'll go on to win 3-1, with Barnet drawing.
If not, I would have taken the play-offs at the start of the season, and have faith in DC and the team to finish the job.

If Sinclair is back for the playoffs, we can win them! as much as I love The Beard, I'm not sure how he fits into the team now, if he were back! Lines is our 'creativity' in central midfield, something we've lacked all season. Mansell is vice-captain, and the energetic steel in central midfield. Also has a cracking free kick on him. I never liked it when The Beard was pushed out wide on the right. Seemed such a waste of his talent in central midfield, and meant we didn't have any proper wingers as Monkey would nearly always be over on the left side. Now Dawson has gone we have a problem of who to play on the right. Even though he did well over Christmas, Gosling's 'performance' at Woking and whatever the home game was after [he started and was hauled off at HT I think] utterly deflated me, and made me feel he could never be allowed to start a game again. Just too inconsistent. Balanta looks like he's in the wrong job, and sadly none of us have seen Baggie so to expect him to start a game is slightly unlikely. Maybe The Beard could work out wide right if leadbitter was played? Then The Beard could cover him if he goes on a galloping run? Might the best of a poor bunch of options.

Stick Lines out wide and have Sinclair in his best position, Sinclair's presence in the middle is far more effective than Lines' in this division.

"Gateshead accept Wrexham approach for boss Gary Mills". Theoretically, this is not good news for us. Gateshead manager off to WrexhamWill the Gateshead players want to send their old boss off in style? Or put on their flip-flops, until a new boss is appointed?

Disappointing that more posters have found things to moan about in one of our most important matches for years than contribute and offer support for Saturday.
Says a lot ....
