VAT? Can't that be offset against input VAT?

However you look at it £200.00 is vat. The raffle tickets are £1000.00 + vat.

Just got back from the draw (won f**k all). I still think it is a great way to raise sponsorship funds, I would much rather have a local business on our shirts and £70K raised, than a multi national paying the same amount.

I still think it is a great way to raise sponsorship funds, I would much rather have a local business on our shirts and £70K raised, than a multi national paying the same amount. and everyone gets a signed football, advert in programme and website, AND a very generous hospitality package, which means circa 700 people still 'involved' with BRFC, and hopefully lots of happy people who have a good time, think and say good things about us, etc. P.S. No i don't work for the club

On my last visit some lads in white t-shirts had one too many Hoffmeisters and decided to throw the remains of their fizzy lager over each other's heads and have a fight about something, pool balls were whizzing through the air, the Landlady steamed in, through a hail of flying balls and sorted the miscreants right out. Dangerous and funny all at the same time. Wonder if the entertainment is still up to those standards?

On my last visit some lads in white t-shirts had one too many Hoffmeisters and decided to throw the remains of their fizzy lager over each other's heads and have a fight about something, pool balls were whizzing through the air, the Landlady steamed in, through a hail of flying balls and sorted the miscreants right out.
