Ummm, sorry, know this is your forum so I should let you be apart from the odd comment (am bored at work so hovering on footie forums) but we were not nailed on favourites by any stretch last year? In fact this time last year we were all really worried we wouldn't even get into the playoffs! The season before that we were top at turn of the year but already struggling by March and by April just hoping to get into the playoffs. I think that is part of the reason we are so excited at the moment, last 2 years we were in poor form already by this stage. Its not his forum. Look at his user name, the club he supports doesn't exist anymore! Good point, too quick too jump in! Will try to leave you alone now but good luck till the end of the season to the extent that Town obviously go up!

We are all football fans who care passionately about our clubs and have loads in common especially the fact that we support clubs that have been so badly mismanaged that we play in the non league despite having support bases that could sustain championship clubs easily. Its painful being here in the conference and the post in the link below from one of your fellow fans titled "World f*** off " on the day you were relegated is one of the best football forum posts ever. Any one who supports a club like ours (or anyone who is not a gloryhunting f***wit actually) will laugh and cry at the reality of their relationship with their club so eloquently expressed in that post.

They've done that for several seasons and blown up[ on each occasion. Last year they won just two of their last seven games having been nailed on favourites.
It's probably the early spring smell of fish that does for them
