So if no-one knows and we are all making assumptions ( which I agree). Why do you constantly try to prove your point ??. Don't worry about poor old Bamber, he was certain that this would never go to court. That's a fact that he will deny in his opinion. His track record of getting things wrong is growing. I've got a hunch that he might be right with that one. No evidence but just a hunch.

As for track records, who said first that the contract was likely to time-expire? And whilst we are on the subject of who said what, I seem to remember suggesting last May that if we wanted to win this dire hoof and hope division we should try to appoint Martin Allen.

Look folks, I have received a number of complaints about this thread. I know feelings are running high but in 20 days it could be all over, as in back in the League and also we will know extactly what the outcome is with Sainsburys. So can we leave the point scoring to one side please and just get on with what we do best, support the GAS! (you don't have to agree with the BoD, I do not).

Why would anybody complain to admin over the content of this thread? Even though you have now given permission to discuss politics as long as it remains within the context of the thread, it has remained mostly Rovers related. Views have been exchanged, sometimes robustly, that's what happens on forums. BTW, don't discount the possibility that the Sainsbury's situation may not be resolved in 20 days, and even if it is, we may never find out what the exact terms of any settlement may have been. Am I allowed to say that?

Despite the usual personal comments by the usual member, I don't think there is much to complain about, is there? Anyway Bamber is my new bestie, allegedly. Just like old times, when was that? Leicester?

Am I allowed to say that? I think it is a strong possibility that you are right, possibly on both counts. It would not surprise me in the slightest that everyone gets to court on May 14th and the proceedings are adjourned/ prolonged for one reason or another. We know that Sainsbury's have deep pockets and plenty of stamina when it comes to legal matters and I'm pretty sure we won't back down. If a judgement is made, then that will be a matter of public record, so we should know then. If both parties agree to settle out of court, there is a strong likelihood that a condition of the settlement would be a non-disclosure agreement.

If anything, Oldie and myself should be the ones upset, it seems that, without me realising, we are in a homosexual relationship and are both sodomites. The wife won't be happy when she finds out!

To be fair, I had a quick look and can't find the post anymore. And I thought it was the 10 pints of Guiness Oldie bought me that caused the symptoms.
