The lad's shown great initiative there. Go up or stay here he should be given a run of games next year imo.

He's developing well there clearly, keep him down there and let him grow for the time being. He could be like a new signing in the summer!

Good lad with great attitude. I hope he makes it with us but we don't seem to be bringing our youngsters through any more.

Its a tricky balance raising youngsters who are both good enough to play for us but also so s**t that nobody else wants to take a punt on them.

Excuse my ignorance on this but is Jamie a midfielder or forward, I've seen his name mentioned a few times on here but forgotten what position he plays ?

At least we have a manager who is getting these players out on loan, one thing that has annoyed me in recent years is giving youngsters from the youth team pro deals and then making them train with the first team squad for a whole season, never playing a first team game and never getting a chance to develop themselves in senior football with a loan move elsewhere. Come the summer these players have then been released, but it's good to see DC has made sure our first year pro's have regularly gone on loan throughout the season to various local clubs. Lucas is having a great season and proving that either next season or the one after he can force himself into the first team.

He should be on our bench Playing regularly and scoring goals in the Conference South has got to be better for a players' development than bench warming in the Conference National!

Cool, like the sound of that, lets hope we can bring him on in his career to make the step up to our first team

Is that Bristolian for midfielder or forward as I have no idea ? i think he is technically Welsh as he was born down there when his Brummie Dad was working down there. They're are now back in Brum. He is a hard working, never-say-die striker who will chase and close down all day long. He also is a great finisher by the sounds of things,. The family now live in the wonderfully named Lickey End which is of no significance at all but I just wanted to share it as it is on the list of the top 5 rudest place names in the Country. And it makes me smile - a lot !!!!
