Is this the lad that came on towards the end of the season, big lad ,centre forward type lots of energy ( Not Mitch Harding) ? The one that Clarke brought back from a broken foot straight into the first team squad to try and save us from relegation? Yeah that's him.

Like all the best laid plans, it would have been genius, had it worked.

Yes. I have too. He could go down the Harry Kane route. Or he might not make the step up. Give him another first team chance soon. Not just on the bench.

I saw him a number of times for the youth teams and Professional Development side. He is a rather old-fashioned CF with a great attitude and excellent workrate. He does not hide, can link play; and obviously can finish. He's not the fastest of players but he covers a lot of ground. He's grown a lot in the last year. I don't know if DC rates him. I heard a throwaway comment that made me think he may need persuading. However other clubs have looked at him at various stages of his career so far. Put it this way; if we don't give him a chance our youth set-up means sod all!

Just like Harrison has done Think it's you who's missing the point. Playing 90 minutes competitively week in week out is infinitely better for his development than coming on with 20 minutes go sporadically.

At the end of the day he is our player and needs to play for us ..otherwise what was the point in spending money on coaching him for the past 3/4 years and letting Weston Super Mare have the benefit of playing him

Let him develop and maybe he will come back READY for the first team and won’t be slagged off the first time he fluffs a chance and some fans decide he isn’t good enough and never will be

I'm having flashbacks to when Bobby Zamora proved himself at Bath but then was never given a run in the team (or after proving himself at Brighton). Let Jamie play till then end of the season and then we can have a nice decision on our hands.
The Rovers Harry Kane.

I'm going to watch him tomorrow against Bath, we won't go far wrong if we give Dale Grubb a Weston midfielder a trial as he is their back bone to the team and he is only a youngster. Come on Jamie

Come on Jamie hasn't Grubb been given the look over previously? know he has gone around several teams in Somerset in the last 2 seasons, and isn't Weston the highest grade of football he's played at yet?
