Well I heard there Will a new chairman in by the end of the week! And It will not go down well with the fans After having tolerated the present Board (and Chairman) for as long as we have, it's difficult to imagine anyone (or anything) being more unpalatable.

There will be a board meeting on Monday, where it is likely that either GD or CJ will be appointed temporary chairman. Not definite but likely. If there is/are new money men, why don't they take over?
Starting to get worried now.

Don't see the point in creating threads like this, club is already at its lowest ever point in history and now people want to sink it even lower letting conspiracies get out of control and fans falling out with each other.

I've heard Higgs is being pushed out and his Imperial Bubbleness will become overlord again.

Dunford was asked this by a supporter on twitter a few days ago "Are you looking to take a more hands on approach to the football side of Rovers next season Geoff? utg".
His Response : "No, I have not been hands on for two years and have no intention of getting more involved."
Can't see Sir GoD taking over as chairman, maybe his son Peter or possibly Ware or Jelf as temporary men until somebody new wants to buy Higgs shares if he wants to sell them.

This is starting to become tedious.
Whoever is Chairman is irrelevant if the outcome (aka decision-making) of the "democratic Board" stays the same.
Geoff has more football nous than Nick (who should be allowed to concentrate on the Stadium development). It's the management of internal dissent that he struggles with.
Chris Jelf would be a good choice. Younger, more straight-forward and perceived by fan-base as a new brush and relatively untarnished. Does he have the time to do it though?
I hope you're reading Geoff.

Jelf would be a good bet The big bonus then would be Smudger might stay another season or at least wouldn't force move away on the cheap. I can't see GD being interested unless his health issues have completelly cleared up and BB would have less public appeal than even NH. The big question is will NH stay on the board and, if not, that happens to the UWE and the millions he's invested in the club to date?
