Scunthorpe United 7 0 victory You mean 5-1 on 13 Nov 1982. One of my favourite ever matches. I remember listening to Jon & Vangelis - I'll Find My Way Home in the queue to get into the Tote End that day and it has stuck with me as my lucky pre match listen just before k/o. In the league, yes 7-0 v Scunthorpe, before that, 4-2 v Rochdale 11 Dec 2021.

Gas are starting to go through the gears, improving week on week and providing they avoid an early ‘sucker’ goal. JeffNz you are way tooooo pessimistic predicting 3-0 to Wigan and Bluetornados, toooooo negative by hoping for a draw. Whereas o2o2bo2ba, I reckon your on the money and I agree Gas to win on a balmy Saturday afternoon. Signing off from Toteend4 who are now minus 1 since the last home game RIP Mike from Toteend3 UTG Agreed, time to start getting some wins, hopefully Marquis will go on a goal scoring run. Arguably the best team performance since the 7-0 and pleasing to see goals coming from four different players including Marquis. Plus another half a dozen good chances but you get no extra points for conversions. Nevertheless it was a GET IN PERFORMANCE!

..Jewel in crown, CT for me...Wyke had a lucky deflection when we mistakenly thought keeper was fouled but apart from that, he had Wyke in his pocket... I agree, Connor Taylor had a commanding game. It gave me flashbacks of his namesake and Rovers legend Stuart Taylor who seemed to just glide effortlessly across the pitch mopping up every threat. I really hope we'll be looking back at this season come May next year and saying this game was the turning point that put us on the path to promotion. If every player put a shift in like they did yesterday, then that may not be as fanciful as it may sound.

Seem to remember us sticking 4 goals past Wigan Bradford and Scunthorpe then too. Think Fatty f**kwit Botham was a sub for them in that game too

Which begs the question why didn’t B***** have him in the side after signing him instead of warming our bench? For my money during the season we had him on loan the best CH I’ve seen in a Rovers shirt including Tillo. So pleased we signed him

Think he was exactly the same at the s**theads 3 times I think, away at Plymouth and home to Walsall and Doncaster - the latter being so one sided I seem to recall we had 18 shots on target and 16 off target. We should've won 22-0, not 2-0.

3rd and 4th strikes were confidence boosting goals. Did not expect much from the game, but the Gas delivered. Hope B***** now realises that Marquis is a must in the starting line up, actually I think Marquis and JCH are very similar, so lets make do with what we have and give Marquis a run of games…UTG. I said that on the JCH thread, would save Rovers some money,as you say Marquis needs to start every game.

What a great interview. Was expecting him to have a west Indian accent. Hadn’t realised he played so many games for peterborough either. Thanks for posting BT
