Well if you ever have the chance to go into the hospitality boxes you will see box 3 seating is adjacent to box 1 and 2 where the directors sit and often I sit next to the directors. Box 2 seating is in effect for the directors of the away side and their families. In fact Ed Ware usually sits in box 3 with families of the youth set up as opposed to box 1&2. At full time I was invited into box 1. I saw no one scrapping. I'm not saying it didn't happen outside of the box but from inside where I was I saw nothing. Box 4 was full of mouth and diatribe. Maybe it was there that the issue was? Thanks for confirming you don't know Irenestoyboy.

Thanks, this is just what I was told along with a few other things like O'Toole being on £4000 a week. Reliable guy but could all be balls I would be amazed seeing as Lambert signed a contract worth 5k per week just before moving to Southampton.

Kev. GD told me some years ago at Stoke that he used to watch from the Tote End and rightly called himself a Tote Ender. Funny thing is, that on the board, he always used to distance himself from 'those thugs on the Tote End. They don't represent the club in any way shape or form'. there were lots who stood there who weren't very fighty though I think back in those days people used to move around the ground across the years, and that many on here would have done their time on the Tote, the Enclosures, and even the Muller Road end (before the cages and all) Spot on, piratey!
And in my case even the 'boy's enclosure' - although for threepence you could transfer to either enclosure at half time, as long as there was room. Big gates in those days.
Regards from a 'Tote Ender' before there was a Tote End, if you get my meaning a bit like ...

Matt Harrold on £4,000 per week? Oh come on now, this is beyond a joke. If that's true then it's no wonder that he didn't want to leave. The money that has been wasted at BRFC hits a new low, with all due respect to Matt Harrold. Now, if we had been talking about Harold Jarman . . . well, that would have been a totally different story. :goal:

Chinese whispers!

hmmmmm for what it is worth about 15 minutes after the game I popped my head into box 1 whilst the doorman was looking elsewhere and there was just several people sitting or standing outside in complete motionless silence. To a man (and woman) they just looked like someone had shot their child. I couldn't even be bothered to say what I'd intended to say. Shortly after that a security guard was moved upstairs as an attempt had been made to get up the stairs at the end of the West stand.

ps there were very few current directors in box 1 at that time, as others have said three were in 2, 4 and 6

don;t spoil some good rumours with facts. I've been in box 4 all season and I saw nothing, and this box is run by Chris Jelf. Perhaps you should ask him if he saw anything?

Looked like some of the board had some kind of cut out face masks on their heads for the first 70mins, what the hell were they??
And no way Harrold was/is on 5k. He's a squad player at best.
