Are you suggesting it only applied to that season? Given we were relegated this season it obviously did!! Not really sure what you're saying, now. Are you saying that we couldn't have been relegated the year before coz NH said it wasn't an option, but we were this year coz he didn't say it this year? Was this like a magic spell or something?

Kev. GD told me some years ago at Stoke that he used to watch from the Tote End and rightly called himself a Tote Ender. Funny thing is, that on the board, he always used to distance himself from 'those thugs on the Tote End. They don't represent the club in any way shape or form'. He was a south stand regular when his sports teacher used to take him. I think the poster was referring to another director and mentioned something about taking out insurance. Mind, the director who flew off the handle told his victim that he would deny it if repeated. This is becoming harder to unravel than Geoff's Quest!

2. There was a large bust up in box 1 following the final whistle. Lots of blame and counter blame between board members. Anyone else hear this ? Any truth in it? What do you expect when someone's eaten all the sandwiches?! Prawn, I assume?

Having been in box 3 for the last home game and most home games during the season, I can honestly say there was no punches thrown, no guests grabbed by the scruff of anything short and curly, no arguments amongst directors, nor were there any directors shouting abuse at fans. Sorry to disappoint.
We didnt play like a disjointed team in the second half and bar the width of a post and a crossbar we would have got a point or a win on any other day. SO i doubt there was much of a dust up either. But I dont know what goes on in the dressing room and I doubt we will ever find out.

With respect Irenestoyboy,if you were in Box 3 ,how do you know what went on in Box 1? I've no idea what went on by the way.

Each day we're becoming more and more of an embarassment.
Who knows how true either are but just reading and thinking it is making me feel embarrassed.
Can we close the circus and open the football club.

Thanks, this is just what I was told along with a few other things like O'Toole being on £4000 a week. Reliable guy but could all be balls

Sorry to disappoint. You did well if you could see all of the Directors after the final whistle, they don't all watch from Box 1 and most of them scurried off into the sanctuary of their respective boxes and shut the doors PDQ when the game ended.

Sadly Northville's account of the grabbing incident is in fact accurate, unless you were patrolling up and down the corridor of the West Stand hospitality area and know better?

Well if you ever have the chance to go into the hospitality boxes you will see box 3 seating is adjacent to box 1 and 2 where the directors sit and often I sit next to the directors. Box 2 seating is in effect for the directors of the away side and their families. In fact Ed Ware usually sits in box 3 with families of the youth set up as opposed to box 1&2.
At full time I was invited into box 1. I saw no one scrapping. I'm not saying it didn't happen outside of the box but from inside where I was I saw nothing.
Box 4 was full of mouth and diatribe. Maybe it was there that the issue was?
