Dwane Developments UK Ltd, of which Wael was the sole director since March 2020, has been dissolved.
Whether this has any significance in terms of stadium development who knows ?

Oooh! Sounds significant to my uneducated ear. The company was formed in 2018 and was probably to be used for a specific project so when that didn't materialise there was no binding need to keep it in existence. But with the formation costs having already been paid and the annual maintenance costs being low there would be a case for keeping the company going to be used with future projects. I wonder whether this was ever taken into account or whether the company was just forgotten about and has now been allowed to be struck off ? The Dwane Developments UK Ltd filings at Companies House do show that Hani resigned as the sole director, with Wael appointed in his place, on March 17th 2020. This suggests that March 17th 2020 was the probable date on which Wael also took control of Dwane Sports Ltd.

So there may be a possibility this has something to do with a Fruit Market development, somehow?

But if in the future we discover a new company has been formed, say Dwane Developments UK (2055) Ltd , that might be a cause for optimism.

Swiss
Looking at the filings I would suggest as its compulsory strike off and the latest accounts were for a dormant company in 2019 that it is a failure to register accounts that is the reason for strike off. Not very professional in my view if it is that reason.

Not very professional in my view if it is that reason. No doubt Taylor Wessing (the firm with 28 offices internationally and employing over 1000 lawyers) will be to blame for that. I think the knowledge that Dwane Developments existed and that Wael had taken it over from Hani provided some Gasheads with grounds for optimism. But now it's been allowed to fade away without a whisper and, I fear, the hope that nobody would notice.

But instead of a wheelchair and big van, you have the Internet to enable you to do the detective work. Pirate does new players on the other Forum, you so corporate finance on this. Am amazing combo. I have received insights that I never thought possible. My layman's view is that Wael is not working on a new Stadium, as he has just spent a large proportion of his inheritance on stabilising us and building new Training Ground. He hasn't got the courage to spell it out to us. Fruit Market is dead after Wael secured control. No great incentive to re-build the Mem in League 2. Be honest, Wael!! I would settle for one decent (East) stand at the Mem in my life-time, but I don't see it happening soon. This isn't a dig at Wael. Just manage our expectations please.

I think WAQ is content in the 3rd or 4th tiers. He has no real intention of reaching the 2nd tier or a new stadium.

I should prefer it if you went back further and compared me to Perry Mason, you can be Paul Drake if you like and Angas could be Della. Apart from Darlo and Colyton I've probably lost most Guzzlers there. Agree with you about it needing courage though.

There is currently a re-make of the Perry Mason series on HBO - you are actually bang on trend with young 'uns!

What irks me is that in February 2016 we had pp for a new stadium and money was not an issue. We were also top half league 2. We are fortunate to have Wael in some respects as it’s all relative. He’s not the Oystons or the Italian who was at Orient. But he sure as hell isn’t what he gave the impression he was back in 2016.

Which begs the question why spend around £20m clearing the debts and a few £m more developing The Quarters if his only intention is to remain an L1 club at best. What other L1/L2 owner has spent that kind of money on their club?

I would say not necessarily. A 20,000 new stadium, backing a winning manager eg GC would be real evidence. WAQ sounded to me in one interview ,completely unconvinced in our chances of reaching the 2nd tier.I think he let his act slip for a moment.

He has been badly let down by those he has entrusted both inside the boardroom and from his managers down. He makes the ultimate decision's though.

By now the Al-Qadi family could have spent in excess of £ 30 million on Rovers but it's how you spend it that counts and that's where the problem has been. Here is an example of a League 2 training ground for which MJ Abbott were also contracted to construct the pitches.

The losses have spiralled and on the pitch we have plummeted back to where Higgs took us following disastrous managerial appointments with the latest being the worse of the lot.
