You don`t know what you`re doing...You don`t know what you`re doing. You should never have written this. I wouldn`t be remotely surprised, if you spend eternity stoking the flames of Hell, next to Joey Barton. Repent. Repent.
It's just a shame there isn't a Hell for Jerry Falwell to go to. But yes, this is an inescapable problem for me. There's something that I find myself in agreement with Barton on. It's far from comfortable I can assure you. Don`t despair. It`s not yet too late. The Lord will reward those, who repent and believe in him. Take Afghanistan. How do you think it was possible for the Taliban to take over the country so quickly?
It was God`s will. Plus the two million tons of American military hardware, discarded by fleeing Afghani troops.

You’re reading too much into this. I made a simple comment about JB having a variety of friends on a football forum. You disagree about that perhaps but don’t try and cause another argument and imply something that I didn’t say. Hey ho but you’re very good at it I must say. 😉 UTG! It's you attempting to stir up disagreement. You've set up a contrast between two people, good and bad and attempted to utilise Christianity to demonstrate that Jones was the 'good guy', well go on then, let's have your best evidence to demonstrate why being Christian makes someone a good person. There are very real question marks over whether good people can even be Christian. It will depend whether they've actually studied the texts. If they have they'll have to shut their eyes to all sorts of racism, homophobia, infanticide, genocide, the list goes on, and on. We had this exact same discussion on here about that bloke who was a criminal but then found an invisible friend and became Rovers' Chaplin. So he's swapped crime for irrational beliefs and joined a blood cult with sacrifice at the centre of it's doctrine, are we supposed to respect him for that? My two cents or take on it, coming from deeply religious Roman Catholic parents but escaped the indoctrination and dogma. I was the youngest and now the only one left alive. I think Marx was right, it’s the opium of the masses. Alcoholics chase frim booze to religion. It’s the swapping of one thing for another. If all religions, especially Catholic, gave the collection plates to eradicate world hunger, it would be defeated. The funny thing is that I am a believer but no longer a church goer. My prayers are in private and alone. Im sure my brothers would be alive if not for the guilt that the RC religion keeps you feeling. I could write a very long piece, maybe even a book on it. To close, I think that if we all lived a life that was based, roughly, on the Ten Commandments, it would be a better world or, even the five pillars of Islam. It totally ruined my family and played a huge part in my brothers demise. That’s another and long winded story

It’s not for America or other western countries, to tell others how they should live though. It’s all about money and access to the making of it

Yes, I fully take your point but am holding back as it’s an emotive topic. I don’t need the anger today

I thought it wouldn't be worth speaking to that Nathan Jones..... he's been gone too long. Do you think he's been hearing voices?

Check crime rates in secular societies KP. Yes, I fully take your point but am holding back as it’s an emotive topic. I don’t need the anger today I share your frustration. People really ought to stop equating declarations of faith or association with any of these cults as meaning that someone is a decent person. The world would be better off without organised religion, and the good people who presently follow any of the numerous 'truths' and do good deeds in the name of their beliefs would soon find alternative ways to get their good work done.
