Apologies in advance for positing this but needed to get it out there..
I have recently been banned from gaschat for multiple reasons. Some deserved, some not.
The final reason though was a member called "Shawyblue" being friendly with me on gaschat and gaschatters mods believed this was a fake account I used.
Just wanted to get this out there as it gets the truth out there and will potentially help mods on both forums Re user names.
So yes anyway, I received this message from Germanygas on here shortly after being banned from gaschat...

Hi mate.
You might know me as Shawygas, or alternatively Kansasgas, FalmouthBlue, HartlepoolGas, MancGas or a number of other alter egos
Whilst you may have regarded yourself as the biggest WUM on Gaschat, this is not the case. I have worked hard to go under the radar to sabotage the forum as much as possible over the last 12 months.
I’m a rather familiar face actually.
I’m going to offer you two options which lead to you getting your permanent ban on Gaschat removed.
Option 1)
I provide you with a fresh account, username, email and password. No posts, nothing, all for personal use. A fresh start as it were. You may have to use a VPN mind you.
Option 2)
In your name, I set up a pressure campaign, registering 10s of GGMI accounts to the forum a day as well as rookie accounts that posts threads trying to appeal to the mods better senses.
I created Shawyblue to fool the mods into thinking it was an alter ego GGMI account, which would get you banned. It worked just as I had planned it to.
You’re a real honest bloke and I think you’ve been wronged here. Feel a bit guilty actually.

I really did lobby for your reinstatement to Gaschat, registering (as Shoveler) for this sole purpose, that's all true. They will take you back in the end.
But this is the third thread, at least, you've written here about you and Gaschat.
Just call him!
I'm not Shawy or Germany, though. Always Shoveler, or some extension thereof. I've been on Guzzler for bloody years, mate.

Tbh nobody probably cares but I was unable to defend myself on gaschat when accused of making fake accounts on there so needs to be out there. Whether Germanygas is you or not (I strongly suspect it is) they are up to mischief and making multiple accounts. Hopefully this information will be useful to mods if nothing else. |

Whilst i can see why you may want to clear your name regarding 'fake accounts' on the Gasshat forum. It does however seem like you are using Gasworks Forum as a rather desperate springboard to get your ban Recinded. Why bother? Why pamper to the self indulgent few running the show over there - i doubt they will will let you back what ever you do as only Snowflakes need apply. Slow down to a gallop and worry about things that really matter and if you choose to stick around then welcome! UTG |

He's been paddling in this pond for many a year and seldom causes a ripple of discontent although he has been known to migrate away when shots have been fired at him.  And, like many of his feathered friends, he does leave his mark all over the place. Just ignore Gaschat. They have a Mod (gassy) who will stalk you online. That is a fact that I am well aware of. He also creates fake accounts. He created one on this site pretending to be a woman, and then promptly tried to accuse anyone who didn't agree with him(her) of sexism ! He also posted on Gaschat using this fake female account. Yep, a Mod posted on his own site using a fake account. Strange behaviour. The Mods on gaschat know this is going on, but they defend it for some strange reason. The account on here as germanygas is obviously aimed at me, as I live in Germany. germanygas is obviously a troll from Gaschat.
Don't go on there, it's not worth it. You could get stalked online, or they may create fake accounts all over the place in an attempt to discredit you.

I find it hard to believe that Shoveler is germanygas.
There`s a rudimentary intellect behind Shoveler`s musings, that`s entirely absent from germany`s.
Could be the old double bluff, but I doubt it.
