Just ignore Gaschat. They have a Mod (gassy) who will stalk you online. That is a fact that I am well aware of. He also creates fake accounts. He created one on this site pretending to be a woman, and then promptly tried to accuse anyone who didn't agree with him(her) of sexism ! He also posted on Gaschat using this fake female account. Yep, a Mod posted on his own site using a fake account. Strange behaviour. The Mods on gaschat know this is going on, but they defend it for some strange reason. The account on here as germanygas is obviously aimed at me, as I live in Germany. germanygas is obviously a troll from Gaschat. Don't go on there, it's not worth it. You could get stalked online, or they may create fake accounts all over the place in an attempt to discredit you. Check out some of Gassy`s posts, while a game is actually under way. He makes Joey Barton look like a candidate for a Nobel Peace Prize. Anger issues there. His girlfriend is having/had a baby, and I doubt if that will help soothe things. God help the poor little mite.
Another of the main contributors on that forum, who clearly feels superior to most when it comes to matters of tolerance or diversity, has repeatedly said how fondly he looks back on the murderous rampage of the Baader-Meinhof faction. How can you debate with someone with such little self awareness? I`d sooner go for a drink with germanygas.

Apologies in advance for positing this but needed to get it out there.. I have recently been banned from gaschat for multiple reasons. Some deserved, some not. The final reason though was a member called "Shawyblue" being friendly with me on gaschat and gaschatters mods believed this was a fake account I used. Just wanted to get this out there as it gets the truth out there and will potentially help mods on both forums Re user names. You were warned several times yet still carried on winding others up etc. And when you eventually get banned you start whinging. Stop using this place to get back on the other place or users of this forum will be mightily jarred off, if they’re not already. UTG! Wareham, I'm not whinging, I'm defending myself because unable to do over there whilst some stick the knife in and make untrue accusations about fake accounts (I think you were one of these from memory?) I think you will find gaschat mods are actually quite happy with the information as it has helped with eradicating some dummy accounts. Hugo mentions they have cleared about 300 accounts. Part of this I believe is due to information I have provided for them (along with other info they have not from me). |

I said in one post about the accusation but put in brackets that you denied it. But you’ve admitted the other bits and here you are still acting the victim. And now you’re getting others to act on your behalf. You’ve made your point, you’ve stirred it all up. You tried to get me to do stuff in your PMs to me and when I didn’t respond I presume you went to others seeing that one of BRIF posters arrived over there and asked them to take you back. Not the greatest plan perhaps. Oh no, that was me, and on this charge (perhaps this charge alone) GGMI is not guilty. GGMI did not ask me to represent him, in fact, he thinks I'm someone else there. I registered over there to plead for his reinstatement both sincerely, because he obviously really misses them and I really do feel for the poor boy, and also ironically, because the concept of Gas Guzzlers desperately trying to get the other parent to take custody of their child, well I just found that funny. That Hugo did not is really his problem more than mine, as Gaschat will never be my cup of tea, as summarised perfectly by @isaachunt above. They'll take the boy back one day. |

The problem to me is that there seems to be fake accounts all over the place or allegations of them I should say. Hard to know what is real and what isn’t. But they seem to be having a good old fashioned family argument over there at the moment about mods and fake accounts. I think it’s really sad as I enjoy both places, different as you say, but both are full of good posters with sensible views. And I’ve learnt which ones it’s probably best not to engage too fully with. I will make no comment about the moderators because I am unaware of the nuances of individuals. Btw, Hugo is a top man with a very sensible approach. You’re probably right about ggmi, they will take him back soon but he’s got to do his time on the naughty step first! UTG! |
