This is starting to look like Joey's position is untenable, which is very sad as by all accounts the building blocks are in place to turn the club round on all fronts. The thought of having to start all over again would be crushing!
Serious question, who is Joey's number two and could he take up the baton? Its worked in recent times for us when DC took over from JW and then GC subsequently took over from DC.

Super caretaker Widders will be to the rescue.
We will see Ayunga net 12 goals in 10 games, Liddle become the club captain and Harries turn into the League 2 Lothar Mattheus.

He may have taken over for the 72/73 season, I’ll need to check. But PT also took over from Ian Atkins when he had been number two. I make it 4 of our 6 promotions have been achieved by managers who’d been promoted from within. UTG!

I agree that it wouldn't be prudent to bring in somebody from outside at this stage - and, as you say, starting all over again, the players need some sort of stability in management after last season.

I believe he got a bit impatient to take over and twisted arms to do so.

So it could be that 'the Hills are alive with the sound of music' lets hope it's not Joe House Rock!

Yes, you’re right but he was an internal appoint that led to promotion. And of course whereas the others were sacked, good old Bill Dodgin carried on being scout, I think. UTG!

Its worked in recent times for us when DC took over from JW and then GC subsequently took over from DC...... Una mala persona!,and he will have to be suspended pending the two Court outcomes. Up to now I have been generally with the pro JB group. However, after this week's shocking domestic violence revelations, he's smashed a 'cart horse' through any chance of leading the team on to the pitch again. I have absolutely no doubt, if the club were to relinquish their duties in this matter, it would make Galataseray Welcome to Hell'. resemble a kids tea party. Obviously, with the new season immenient it's important Clint, the number two, is made temporary manager until al least all this bad s*** has been resolved. UTG
