Our two full backs Josh Hare and Michael Kelly both recently released by Rovers have both joined Eastleigh.
Apparently former Rovers defender Joe Partington has just been released by Eastleigh.

Hare moving back to a second stint with Eastleigh much like Partington. All three of last season's coaches didn't fancy either of these full backs so may be their natural level is 5th tier.

I thought that Kelly was supposed to be the great white hope a year or so back, Prem teams salivating over him and everything ?

Managed to watch all the U23 home games the year before last.He was consisently the stand out performer and an excellent captain .However I think the step up to division 1 was just a little too much for him

I think Eastleigh have got a good pair of fullbacks for the NL there, wish them both all the very best. Easy to forget how well Hare was doing before GC left and he got injured.

Joe Partington has left Eastleigh to join Woking. Who bought Partington to Rovers ? Forget that, he was signed in 2017 so a DC signing. Had some potential as a youngster. |
