I prefer "Our Joey" it reminds me of the sitcom Bread. I wonder if today will be his last match in charge for a long while?  If what many are saying is true, that the video evidence is overwhelming, it should be a formality but we all know that crown court is never like that. All that is needed in one reason to doubt said evidence. I will put it another way, a bloke from Kingswood, of Polish heritage, got away with something due to this type of doubt is there video of Barton doing it? how on earth could the board hire him? How on earth did so many fans standby his appointment for so long? I think it’s similar to how we signed fall back after fall back without saying to the agents “no thanks, good player yes, but we got other priorities” agents set up the Joey deal, the board let agents make decisions here |

5-0 to Blackpool tomorrow, following by more shrugging of shoulders in our dugout. "What can you do with these players, eh?"
I wonder what the excuse will be come October - a dozen games into a new season but still the same old results?

Odds update. Blackpool win tightening everywhere best now 6-10. Gas win at 5-1. Draw at 3.
To avoid finishing bottom Rovers must win and hope Swindon only draw or lose at Wigan.

Don’t be shy people, football is all about opinions, and Gasheads respect and love one another. Admittedly, whatever opinion you still had a month ago, the tameness of our surrender led by the bench which went nowhere near the technical area and just sulked, blaming the squad it said had enough to stay up originally it blagged itself into the job, and who now says just the same that got Tisdale sacked (someone Barton also blamed for the relegation so crassly Tisdale is suing) does paint a slightly different picture for us of someone who can’t change entire squad so still has to work with many of these players and improve them, so different picture than 8 weeks ago, so we will understand any change of opinion. |

The attack on the Barnsley manager was bad enough for the Fleetwood CEO to immediately bundle Barton into his Range Rover and drive him away before the police arrived, that can't have done his defence any good. The Evil Post is now so controlled by the owner they don't go near the subject yet it's a very newsworthy subject and only four weeks away, the paper should be the conscious of the club and represent the fans concerns not some lap dog representing the owner.

It’s just the implication you might be sat on bondi beach surrounded by bikini’s whilst those of us in the lee of Purdown have been freezing our nuts off all year. |

Starting today with no recognised strikers, as if to prove a point about the whole season. Daly on bench.
Recent losses have been narrow. I expect a bigger defeat today.
