it was noticeable, I think, that when Joeybag was appointed the board were very quiet (in contrast to Widders the week before, who had been saying that the team had goals in it, as demonstrated by Jonah's 2 strikes of the season in a single game)
now we know that Joeybag's condition for joining was that he should be able to bring his own team with him, it might explain the above
but if it does, it sounds very fragmented now. Did Wael just panic when Tis didn't go to plan, or did he panic and get star struck, or what I wonder?

What is this "Joeybag" crap? Ragbag Joe sounds better No! "Ragbag Rovers" is almost part of the Clubs identity. We have a sh*te ground, sh*te team and have been badly run for a considerable amount of time. "Ragbag Joe" is stealing even our own self-deprecating humour. I was chatting to an acquaintance of mine yesterday, an old golf pro and life long Liverpool supporter. He didn't recognise me at first as I wasn't wearing the quarters. He spoke of Mr. B*****. "A horrible player, a horrible human being and what the hell is he doing at your Football Club?" This is typical of the comments I've been getting since February 22nd. I have 100% feedback consistent feedback from every football supporter I know regarding our manager. There is laughter, then sympathy. They are, like me, just dumb-founded at the appointment.

Once we get passed the initial piss take, the majority and I hasten to add upstanding members of the community I know around here (Liverpool and Manchester), actually think Joey has something about him, and that he will be good for us. They see him as a natural winner, and with infectious enthusiasm that brings the best out in others. Also a contact worked for Newcastle at the time, said as a senior pro he was great with the youth and inspired them to get better. Differing views, but that's what make the world go around.

Joe Blogs. Joe Soap. Joe Exotic. Average Joe. Joe Cool - no, I can't have that! How about Joe, Bristol Rovers Manager, who at least for the first 10 - 15 games of next season deserves our support. Let's see if he can deliver on the strong rhetoric he's throwing out. Similar to what we gave DC, though some idiots were after his head even before the season had started. If he does it will exciting times. If not another Ben Garner destined to be forgotten.

I am genuinely surprised to hear that holmes, but I respect what you have to say. Perhaps he does have infectious enthusiasm, he's won over a fair percentage of our support. As a manager he certainly does not appear to be a natural winner. Or indeed have a clue what he is doing. I can only report back on what's been said to me. I imagined it was north / east Bristol that was the closed community. I know a senior pro footballer who grew up in Liverpool at the same time as Mr B*****. I won't use the exact language he used to describe him (this was some time ago). But it is safe to say his opinion of Mr B***** is more aligned with mine, than yours.

Hi! - I've re-newed my season-ticket. - I'm supporting Bristol Rovers the football club. - As said before: DC had 8 games / JB had 18 and took us from above the relegation zone to bottom of the table and 10 points from safety. - I didn't call for for DC's head - I thought he spoke well, had a good manner, was enthusiastic, and deserved a chance. - I'm not calling for JB's head - The only reason being because we can't keep on hiring and firing and paying off 3 year contracts.

Tommy's boy Kai has been signed up as a professional for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, having previously appeared on Ireland's Dancing With The Stars: www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2021/new-strictly-pros-announced-2021After having the likes of Roni Size and Geoff Barrow (Portishead and Beak) in the photoshoot for the home shirt unveiling, expect to see Kai Widderington modelling the new away kit.

Kai Widderington was interviewed on BBC Breakfast this morning.
Came across as a nice enough chap, well spoken and confident talking on camera. They showed a picture of Tommy in the dressing room of one of his clubs, with toddlers Kai and Theo on his lap.
We didn't get a direct mention - he just said something like: "... the club they're currently at."
Looks like he's had his teeth whitened. All the more noticeable because he's only had the front done to the incisors, so every time he smiled or spoke you had the terrible contrast of glaring brilliant white at the front, and yellow at the back. Bit like only ironing the front of your shirt, then forgetting and taking your jacket off.
Not sure if the whitening of the front is standard practice. Looks strange though, so he'll need to sort that out before Strictly starts.
