WAQ always try's to come across composed and well spoken, but you could see how uncomfortable and lost for words he was in the BBC interview, he had the look of fear.

Alternative Theory. Wael Al-Qadi knows that after June 7th he will have to release Mr B***** from his employment - should a guilty verdict be given. He must be seething with anger and resentment for this individual he has given the managers position to. An individual who betrays Wael Al-Qadi in a series of interviews. But Wael Al-Qadi doesn't speak out. He says nothing, for now. Through gritted teeth in a short interview with an agreed Q&A, he appears to back the manager. Just a thought but did B***** perhaps get an agreement that he would not be fired in the event of a guilty verdict when he took the job? I can't see how that would be in any way sustainable but I guess if you were in his position and his claim that he had 'already turned down the job' then it has to at least be a possibility right?

He clearly laid down his terms before 'agreeing to join us'. So I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised. Or quite possibly he sweet talked Wael into believing he was entirely innocent and the court would find him not guilty, so nothing to worry about. He can be very convincing, it seems.

I gathered that. Just wasn't sure why you did it so aggressively. This site us going like that again. Deep joy. How you could take that as aggressively is beyond me. There is no aggressive nature in it all. I guess it’s just how each person reads it

Yes, He looked more than uncomfortable and had to be led into the answer about Stokley and Tisdale. We now have it, from the horses mouth , that Joseph is on another level and will be continuing. I fear for this once proud club.

KP is never aggressive to other posters. Trouble is tone of voice doesn't come over in writing. Thank you Angas & The Concept.

main thing is that Wael backs Joeybag to fix everything dreadful, dreadful news (because he's a very, very bright guy, is on a different level, knows football insight out, is a winner) doesn't sound good news for Widders though - he's on his bike, whether he knows it or not, was my take Brilliant Brilliant news that Wael watched all the abysmal mistakes Joey made that relegated us and still thinks he’s great! Every time a defender made a mistake he dropped them. In and out the side. No defence will ever work like that. in fact the player mistakes only came about because Joey is useless at reacting to being out thought by opposing manager, and left his own players double teamed, like what happened to Harries was he was robbed. in fact were too many team and tactical plans on a week by week basis for any team to play okay regardless of quality. bewildering three centre backs and inviting pressure against all our relegation rivals. He can only manage by fear, like Sanigar said, he can’t put an arm around anyone. If he did it wouldn’t be sincere. He has so much ego he just sulked through the match against franchise, didn’t match manage at all. and some of the wrong pegs Joey came up with, like probably Tutonda’s only 15 minutes at centre back in his life. our relegation rivals were rubbish. B***** threw away 15to20 points in thatrun in with mistake after mistake. there’s no way B***** will ever make it in management. If he can avoid ban from football, 12 matches into next season there won’t be a single gashead behind him and he will be gone. He won’t be here at Christmas, he is very clueless at management, even if he can bring in 11 players (which he can’t) it doesn’t change the fact he can’t manage a match, and ruling by fear doesn’t get best out a squad. if you need any help strapping yourself to B***** this week Wael, I know some pretty imprenatrable knots. 😀 Your reputation and future in football is going down with him. 😆 He thinks we will be back up at first try, sadly so do a fair few others. If those people have not been paying attention then I think they will be in for a shock as I don’t see or hear anything that leads me to believe that we will be close. I honestly think that we could be viewed as toxic now and it won’t be easy to get players to come here. Over to you Joseph.

I honestly think that we could be viewed as toxic now and it won’t be easy to get players to come here. Over to you Joseph. I’m confident in what I have watched the last 15 games, someone who will never make it as a football manager. You don’t get a committed, focussed and successful performance out there from a thug using fear alone. You also need a manager who can react to being out thought by other managers and able to manage a match. It wasn’t the players fault we were rarely holding ball long enough to transition, the manager left that unit outmanned and out pressed. I don’t want to see Joey sacked, I want this thing to run it’s inevitable course. 12 games into next season there won’t be a single gashead backing him arguing for him to be given more time. That’s the best backdrop to his sacking. if he is convicted of the assault, and Wael doesn’t sack him, that will very quickly shred Wael’s reputation in the world of football. In that situation Wael will sell and be gone too. we shouldn’t really discuss the court case, or anticipate it. What do they tell the kids? Daddies been found guilty of violence, is going to jail, won’t be here at Christmas, and the rest of your school lives are going to be hell? But there was a Saturday afternoon, the police saw the state of someone, spoke to him, and then wanted to talk to Joey before he could leave the ground. So it looks inevitable really. Joey should take his family abroad. USA maybe? France, Spain. Clean slate, start again.

Strangely enough my son, 16 at the time, was on a school soccer tour to the Netherlands , played at a venue where Newcastle United Reserves were training and actually met and had his photo taken with B*****. He also met one of our forum posters, Dutch Gas, during the same trip.
Joey B***** and Nile Ranger denied visas for Newcastle's US tour
Press Association Wed 13 Jul 2011 11.38 EDT Joey B***** and Nile Ranger will both miss Newcastle United's pre-season trip to the United States after being refused entry visas. The pair will instead travel to Holland with Peter Beardsley's reserve team squad and rejoin their senior colleagues on their return to Tyneside. B***** was denied entry due to his six-month prison sentence for assault and affray in 2008, while Ranger served an 11-week sentence in a young offenders institution when he was 15 after he took part in a street robbery. B***** said in a statement on Newcastle's official website: "Unfortunately, I was denied my visa due to my past. "I regret not being able to travel with the club on this trip, but at the same time, I don't expect to be treated any differently or more favourably than anyone else in a similar situation. All I can do is continue to improve as a person, which is what I intend to do. "Again, apologies to all the NUFC supporters – as well as the fast growing legions of football supporters in the United States who I was looking forward to meeting. I will see you in the future." He later said via Twitter: "They told me am not allowed in until I have 5yrs without any trouble. 3yrs down, 2yrs to go ..." Newcastle will play three games in America, against Sporting Kansas on Wednesday 20 July, Orlando City three days later and Columbus Crew on Tuesday 26 July. B***** and Ranger will instead feature in the reserve games against Hollandia, FC Utrecht and Almere City.

Something I have always wondered why the UK has never adopted, as we appear to allow just anyone into our little Island.

This is due to his felony conviction, which is preventing him from entering the country.

Having foolishly just looked at the various Rovers related Facebook sites, there appears to be a recurring assertion that Tommy has left the club. Does anyone know whether this is fact please, or is just the usual kids starting pointless rumours? (The irony being this thread could be seen by some to be exactly that, of course. 😁) Thank you. Given that Martyn Starnes has been Waels right hand man through out this wretched season I think its a close call as to who goes first
