“Swindon Town FC, its Owner and Chairman, Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management and its Company Director, Michael Standing, have been charged in relation to breaches of The FA’s Regulations on Working with Intermediaries. It is alleged that Swindon Town FC, Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management and Michael Standing breached Intermediary Regulations in relation to the ownership and/or funding of Swindon Town FC. Swindon Town FC, Lee Power, First Touch Pro Management and Michael Standing have until 22 April 2021 to provide responses to their respective charges.” www.thefa.com/news/2021/apr/07/intermediary-regulations-breaches-070421Possible action being taken against Swindon, although as it is by the FA I’m led to believe this will be in the form of Fines/Bans. However if they get found guilty by the FA, they might break EFL regulations as well, specifically section 50 on third party investment. Section 50.1.6 states: “by way of payment to an Intermediary provided that such payment is made in accordance with the Football Association’s Regulations on working with Intermediaries;” www.efl.com/-more/governance/efl-rules--regulations/section-6---players/They break this, they could face a possible points deduction which has the potential to affect Rovers season.

No doubt one of the stato's on here will come up with the relevant information to show how the clubs around us would be affected by results in games v Swindon this season IF points were deducted
