has said the following....
Which brings us back to the president, the man who will ultimately make the decision as to what happens next, whether that be with Rovers in League One or League Two. Because, as the last month has told us, this sort of language from the manager is only going to increase in frequency.
Does he stick to the path he was so determined to establish three years ago or change tack once again?
Although results have been largely poor - two wins, one draw, six defeats - B***** appears to have charmed a significant proportion of the fanbase, brought a sense of renewed passion and optimism and a feeling that while things might be rubbish now, if he’s handed the keys to the kingdom, a bright new dawn can be just over the horizon.
But to enable that, Wael Al-Qadi will surely have to change something fundamental within how the club operates.
B***** hasn't so much said it yet but it's clear he wants greater autonomy in the transfer market; can that be achieved with Widdrington in situ?....
As he said, “we’ve got the blueprint and recruits we need to bring in, it’s just having the opportunity”. That is a pointed critique of the work over the transfer windows before his time in north Bristol in putting this group of players together. No different, in essence, to what Tisdale had said.....
At what stage does it all stop? If the structure isn't harmonious now, four weeks into this project, it's unlikely to be looking ahead, especially if Rovers are relegated.
The end of this torturous season should provide greater clarity, as the impossible question Wael Al-Qadi must find an answer for should then have to be answered: does he trust the now-established but flawed, some would even say failed, model, or the new and uncertain one laden with risk?
The problem he has is, there is no obvious answer.
doesn't seem all that sycophantic to me

Not really on topic, but B*****'s first 9 games have the exact same result ratio as Tisdale's last 9 League games, W2 D1 L6, only B*****'s were against teams, on average, lower in the division.
What exactly is it that anybody is supposed to be building their hopes on for the future here please?

Previously we built on sand but now we are going to build on cat litter because it is better at absorbing this sh*t.

But B***** has identified that the culture needs to change whereas as Tisdale - oh hang on, Tisdale did that B***** has identified a lack of fire power and poor recruitment but Tisdale - oh, it can’t be that either. Oh I give up. It must be to do with Twitter followers and a direct line to Mike Jones

As he said, “we’ve got the blueprint and recruits we need to bring in, it’s just having the opportunity”.
Now for a signing to be made you have to satisfy the requirements of The buying club The selling club The player The agent.
Yet the article suggests that opportunity means it's all about the buying club.
Funny how some simplify a statement to suit their agenda.

As long as a" wider fan base are happy", i am assuming that means the gaschat memership is now oversubscribed, what's not to like....... just how deep is the Mariana Trench,,, can we get any lower than that?

I guess if we keep getting told we’re behind B*****, then I guess we must all be behind B*****. A lot safer than being in front of him

Follow the script and blame Tisdale for not letting Widdrington sign Ollie Watkins in January.

Journos particularly local ones, and indeed TV reporters, have to ask bland questions not searching deep ones, else they will not gain access again. Hence we are sat saying, "Why didn't you ask that or this?" And so media outlets become the voice of the club or manager. It's left to the pundits such as Shearer or Wrighty to make deep and searching points - oh dear.

We are spending millions and no media pushback, spend £37 billion on a****show and no one pushes back..... And with football everyone likes to feel a part of it so no journo is going to damage his relationship with the club asking challenging questions.
