Just got back. Don`t think I`ve ever been so glad to open a bottle of cider in my life. You really had to be there to appreciate how awful it was; a disorganized, clueless shambles.
We were played off the pitch by a bunch of part timers, who had lost their previous two games. Make no mistake, we were lucky to lose by just the one goal. If we`d lost by three, it would have been a fairer reflection of the game. What Clarke thinks he`s doing, is completely beyond me. If he was being paid by the Bristol City Supporters` Club, to take us from the football league to the Conference south in the quickest possible time, he could scarcely be making a better job of it. We`re in free fall, and nobody at the club seems to have a clue what to do about it.

I think Brunt`s career is coming to an end. He permanently looks like he`s just had a bad tackle and is ready to be substituted.

I was there with my son and a Watford ST - so at least 3. Guesstimate was 450-500 by general consensus. Not sure if there was an 'official' figure... Didn't look that many on YouTube, as their average attendance was1700plus last year, I would say 300-350.

Of course you can,is it Wes?.If it is we both know there were a lot of better players available in the close season and on the same sort of terms. He even brought the wrong player in on trial from Concord Rangers It is, hope you're well Brian. As soon as the signings started rolling in, I feared the worst. There are much better players in the Conference South, and even one or two in the Southern League or equivalent. Very, very disappointing. Hi Wes,glad you are back,i thought the same thing,i even told Marcus Stewart of a few players he could look at but they didnt bother.I feel that with this man in charge we are only going one way, just a ridiculous idea, what about asking Tony Pulis if he would come in as an adviser until he got fixed up with another post,at least you would see some method and organisation and perhaps DC would learn a few things from him

I don't think he would want to associate himself with this BoD and situation, considering the supposed reasons for him leaving Palace. Brian, if you have any sort of influence at the club can you get them to at least take a closer look at the players mentioned here: gasheads.org/post/23732I'm sure it won't be long before they're attracting interest from clubs higher in the pyramid, like some of the others I mentioned this summer - Tom Pett, Connor Calcutt, Adam Marriott, James Shea, Danny Johnson etc.

Says in the Halifax Match Day programme on P 46 that we had 43 corners in the Altrincham game to their 7.That can't be right can it?
