Altrincham have gained their first points of the season. Great. Positives... Sky Sports is free today and I can watch some proper football at 5:30pm. Up The Gas. One day.

It never rains but it pours in the sad world of Bristol Rovers. Am I allowed to criticize the s*** signings yet?   Of course you can,is it Wes?.If it is we both know there were a lot of better players available in the close season and on the same sort of terms.He even brought the wrong player in on trial from Concord Rangers |

As soon as the signings started rolling in, I feared the worst. There are much better players in the Conference South, and even one or two in the Southern League or equivalent. Very, very disappointing. |

Just get rid of Clarke now before he does any more damage. A joke who took us out of the league and is allowed to stay on by the woeful Higgs. If the Board really cared about our club they would dismiss Clarke but they don't and won't. How did anyone think this bunch of hapless losers assembled by Clarke would do well. He should be sacked for negligence in the off season alone!

Will be staggered if he isn't gone on Monday. But I don't know how it's all gone so badly wrong, after a top to bottom review we had the radical change promised by Higgs, Steve Burns, Trish, Simon and Chef were sacked, I for one thought that was all of our problems sorted. |

I hope Mansell's goal was beautiful. It was like listening to the description of a very small rose emerging from a very large pile of manure. But the day is still young. Darell Clarke's post-match interview is yet to come - I know I'm almost guaranteed to be furnished with some fairytale creativity from BRFC today if I keep the radio on.

Clarke is way out of his depth. His record with us is appalling. He might be a nice guy but by signing his non league part time mates there was always going to be trouble. His lack of experience mean lack of contacts in football and with no scouting network to help him.
