Tommy Widdrington .Is he the only 100% Gas manager ever? Joe Dunne was caretaker for our win against Plymouth in FA Cup last season. As I cannot abide Milton Keynes I only recognise the tremendous work Tisdale performed at Team Bath and Exeter ha. Good Luck Mr Tisdale!

An immaculate start.
I think the coat is from White Stuff, as I have one almost identical.
Because of better leg muscle definition than his predecessor ("Chicken Legs Garner" - SD), he will also look better in Chinos.
My favourite line from his Podcast is that formations are like playing Top Trumps. We are already one up on Swindon as Scruffy Sheridan will have a tracksuit on and have Lockdown stubble. Le Tis will in comparison look the dog's proverbials. Sartorial elegance personified.
Bonne Chance Le Tis.

1000 games being a manager.
Former player lives local in Bath.
Good coach track record of three promotions.
Intelligent tactician and has developed Premier league stars at Exeter City Grimes, Watkins and Ampadu all sold for Millions.
Used to working with a small budget.
Whats not to like?

The Dr Who we never had.
Articulate and intelligent sounding guy, started his career at Rovers at about 10 which was new news to me.
Lets hope he carries his time traveller look into the dugout.

Looks like he is more a Waitrose customer rather than Aldi when the window opens! Talking of which, my ma te who supports Cambridge is panicking that Tis will take Hirem Boateng to join him at the gas. Far too good for league 2 apparently and played for Tis at Exeter and MK.

The other thing that has not been mentioned is that he is a very good cricketer.
He was close to County 2s standard when younger and like the Nevilles could have played county cricket instead of football.
Played 1st eleven for Biddestone last season - very good standard.
My point: this guy is a bit different. Not everyone's cup of tea, but a more interesting character than Garner and Coughlan.

My point: this guy is a bit different. Not everyone's cup of tea, but a more interesting character than Garner and Coughlan. That is indeed a very good standard of cricket - in fact only one division below the very top standard of club cricket in the Westcountry. Didn't know that about him - interesting. He's not exactly young either so he must be very decent to still be capable of playing at that level at his age.
Seemed like the logical appointment to me. Should have been made last January but ho-hum. I always rated him highly and thought he was destined for bigger things than us really so it should be an excellent appointment but I can't help but think that he achieved what he did at Exeter in quite a unique environment and over a long period of time where they got long-term results by sticking with him through a number of ups and downs. He might have to adapt to a more standard environment at Rovers and it didn't he look like he quite managed to achieve that at MK Dons in the end. So let's see how he goes. But it's got to be better than it has been surely......
