FT
Positives:
1st away win for BG Rovers and Liverpool the only teams to beat Lincoln this season we edged the 2nd half 2 good goals we got some decisions, for a change Hanlan and Tutonda again Daly off the mark All-round decent display
Negatives:
Not brilliant, it was fine margins, so don't get carried away!

2-1 win, away from home, against an unbeaten top of the table team what's not to like about that. Great defensive performance and some excellent individual performances. I was really impressed with Ehmer and Hanlan, Hare also put in some great crosses. COYB!!

Thought we were excellent.
Tutonda trying to get on the front foot twice in second half and making errors, need to wind him back a little in his own 30 yards.
Great to see Daly get a goal.
Best performance for sometime.

Well done Rovers. A pretty good performance from what others are saying. We could just be putting together a reasonable side, maybe.

Well done Gas!, first game this season displaying real determination and grit. Real positives were Tutonda, Hanlan, McCormick & Daly great shifts aided by a much improved team performance than the win over the Cobblers, added bonus must be no complaints about the referee today. COYB!..

So proud to be gas today to be associated with that performance. It was a bit ragged towards the end, but proper football that built us into a strong position. We just about deserved a win, but it was far better than last week considering opponents in good form.
Hardon bit limp in first half with Lincoln hands all over him at times, but he found cutting edge penetration in the second half.
I’m not going to get into any naysayers faces, because it’s early days for this new young side, however If you chart our level performance so far this season and draw a line through it, it’s an upward line.

All that talk of giving him ten games is out the window now then. UTG

I didn't see that result coming. Excellent stuff. Well done BG and the team. Let's hope we can push on from here and prove the doubters wrong (that includes me). Happy Saturday. UTG.

What a great result and better away day performance, arguably our best away performance under BG.
Notable performances (for me) of Daly, Tutonga, McCormick, Grant, Hanlan and Hare..
Lincoln tried playing the bully boy tactics of tough 3rd division football, mostly our response was to fall down (I'm not saying we were play acting)! We drew many free kicks from this.....Hanlan drawing fouls and at times having three opponents to take him on. He still stayed on his feet through it, so sometimes could only stop him via foul.
A better high tempo match where we pressed more than they did.
Loved the Tutonga showboating shimmy.
I thought the better team won.
Noticeable..... BG after match interview didn't mention a journey? Even though Lincoln (and Sunderland) are further than Ipswich?
BG after match interview didn't mention ref decisions? Having seen the Lincoln penalty appeal in first half, I thought it looked a foul (or else why not book for a dive?). Ref gave us a penalty, but not them. Happy to be proved wrong as only seen it once..
I have to put these points in because it'll get lost in future matches where such excuses may re-emerge.

BG likes the Beatles, Steve . . . "Getting so much better all the time!" I like David Tutonda. Last game and this one, I thought some of his movement reminded me of Nathan E. I know, nothing like him really. I don't follow footballers on Twitter, I'm going to make an exception. Consider yourself followed David. #UTG Attachment Deleted

I know it’s dodgy to make decisions on a signing from highlights on you tube.....however. Reference my post a while back welcoming “ A Trialist”, I think he will prove to be a great signing.
