Shows that the club does find out what's written here. Couple of days ago there were complaints here about no updates, then we get this. Hopefully people will tell Wael what he doesn't want to hear, namely that multiple threads from when Fleetwood appointed B***** have been dug up, and there's a large number of our supporters who actually said what they really thought about the bloke then. Maybe the club's sycophants could print those threads off and pop them on Wael's desk for him?

It's getting there. It's slowly getting there. One thing that has always looked strange to me is the size of the windows. You'd think in the lounge area at least you'd want to be able to look out over the pitches - bi-fold windows, patio doors, that sort of thing.

That's because it has been a cock up from start to finish. Who in their right mind would construct a 1980's style telephone exchange building to use as the focal point of a 21st century training centre and then, before it is even finished, apply for planning permission to join another one to it ?

You are not helping Wael or Rovers by trying to defend cock up's like this. We can only help him learn to stop making these colossal blunders if we highlight them instead of keeping quiet and feigning loyalty.

I have no idea if its a cock up But I do know our history of training Grounds since Hambrook: Frys -under water frequently. some days nowhere to train. Golden Hill - cock up Filton - pitch and grounds nowhere near fit for purpose. Cock up Knowle - okish, too expensive, wrong location That place up near Bath - christ that was like being in Siberia Cribbs - you ever been up there?? I came across a programme in the attic from mid 1980's the other day and David Williams was writing about a site in Lawrence Weston. Never happened. Cock up I imagine. Now when it comes to Rovers and Training Grounds the two have not mixed for years. Our friend Knowall says it doesnt matter, 'good players play on anything' which is presumably why Leicester have just paid £95m for a new training centre and Liverpool did the same. Let alone Man City who probably doubled that. So if Almondsbury is a cock up I say bring it on, and lets hope for some more of the same. Perhaps we can have a similar cock up on a new stadium. (Please)

It would be (maybe) interesting to know what exactly you (Contradiction) is trying to prove by your very wayward interjections?. There is no doubt in my mind (am I the only one?) who understands that Wael is so way out of his comfort zone and is floundering in an ocean he knows nothing about. He is unfortunately surrounded by people who have never ever been successful in business and we are in their hands as well as his. Is it any wonder that this football Club that we and many like us have loved for many years is going to the wall? Sadly, no-one seems able to fight for OUR Club, instead too many sit around in the belief that Wael is capable of steering BRFC into calmer waters all on his own. Me, I know he is not, if only he would extend the hand to those of us who could really help because we know the people within this football club that are capable and able to do what is necessary to, what is actually, the saving of BRFC. Up to you Wael - make the call - or?

The architects are (and following images by) Kendall Kingscott. If the latest drawings are followed, then some of the windows and doors that have just been installed will be changed.

It wouldn't take much to make the building look a little more welcoming.
Can someone draw a small half circle patio area, outside each door on the South Elevation? It would give each of the people with the pointy hats a nice smiley face.

Up to you Wael - make the call - or? given the choice between Wael and the Wish-I-were-President Club, based on the representations on here over an extended period of time I'll take Wael every day of the week

How many members was it again? it makes Wael seem like an absolute paragon of transparency, doesn't it?

I’m not seeing a cock up, I’m seeing an impressive facility that the club will benefit over the coming years from. You might disagree with the aesthetics but surely that’s a matter of taste? From the floor plans, it looks like it will have all the functionality required.

It seems strange to change something so drastically when you have only just built it but if Wael has found some more money that he wants to spend for the benefit of the football club then bring it on.
By the way whoever said that the Filton Wise facility isn't up to standard then they haven't seen it recently. The problem there was that the deal wasn't what we were led to believe but that's all in the past now and Bristol City jumped in.
Swissgas, you have a stalker.
