at the Zoom fans' forum, didn't the Board say they'd publish our plans for the site - I don't remember seeing them?

Bristol Rovers are set to move into their new training base next month, Ben Garner has confirmed.
The pitches at The Almondsbury Training Centre will be ready for use from early October, with the Rovers boss set to decide a date to migrate the club’s training operation.
The Gas have been training at an undisclosed location following the expiration of their lease for The Lawns at Cribbs FC this summer, ahead of their move to their new home in Hortham Lane, Almondsbury.
“In terms of the pitches, we’re bang on schedule for where we thought we’d be,” Garner told Bristol Live. “The playing surfaces should be ready at the start of October.

I no longer 'do' Twitter, so thanks for sharing pictures. Really good to see BRFC 'building' anything. More please.

I've posted pictures on the other forum, but wasn't sure what the level of interest on here would be. And as you're everyone's favourite duck. The area where at least part of the car park will be. Piping for the irrigation system (and clubhouse?) I presume. Topsoil being laid to bring the surrounds up to the level of the pitches. Lots of lovely grass. Water storage building to the left, the stripey structure (a converted steel framed barn), will be the gym/physio base.

The many photos showing how the pitches have taken shape have been heart-warming. I have been a little concerned, though, that none of the camera angles seem to have shown any building construction. Yet I thought the facility was supposed to be ready for the start of the season - which is now a month old!
Looking back to the first page of this thread [from 4th June 2020], we find:
"The club is delighted to confirm that work will begin next week at [the training ground] to convert it into the training facility for the Bristol Rovers First team for the start of the 2020/21 season.
Contractors have been appointed to start phase one of the project, with an initial installation of first-team pitches and training area, gym, medical area, changing facilities, staff offices and communal areas being concluded this year".
So, I should have read the initial press-release more carefully; the buildings are not due to complete for another few months. I'm not sure how the first timeline "start of the 20/21 season" ever squared with the "concluded this year" statement - unless the players were expected to be bussed in in their kit, train, and be bussed out again to change!
How long is the construction of the buildings - from scratch - likely to take, though? Is it already underway, and all the camera angles have missed it?!
Anyway, I'm not quibbling. We can wait a few months for a facility of which to be proud.

It's a poorly worded statement. Surely we can't use it until (at the very least) the pitches are laid and the changing rooms are ready. Hence "start of the 2020-2021 season" is mis-leading. As GassMacc1 suggests, it's not a huge problem in the overall scheme of things. As for cost of the facility and when it's due to open... the budget will increase and the project will be delayed. Because it's a building project.

Wasn't there mention of not being able to use the changing facilities due to corona? Aren't they taking marquees with them from where they're training now?

The clubhouse is marked out in the area surrounded by the fence. Car park being constructed to the right of the access road. Pitches were being marked out today.

I think the facility is coming on nicely, the playing surface looks perfect. The lack of facilities should not be a problem initially. I am sure that portable toilets and temporary covered areas can be installed whilst the building work is taking place.
We will have the pleasure of seeing this site develop, and it will grow with the needs of the club.
Hopefully we will see players training here soon.
I did not expect to see a dedicated purpose build training ground any time soon, and I'm sure I am not alone in that... Here we are in 2020 and we now have one!
