You spelt ‘we were non league’ wrong.
That should always be a source of constant embarrassment rather than celebration. I’m just surprised the likes of wmgas haven’t blamed the current owners for that yet.

One thing that's different is that the club is deeper in debt. The fans stayed loyal through the non league season and Rovers bounced back,I just hope that the club survives the qadi ownership.

I don’t know about embarrassing, perhaps but from the start of that season we could either have felt embarrassed, assume a sense of entitlement and lick our wounds or realise we were very poor the previous season, roll our sleeves up and do something about it. In August 2014 we were where we were and DC and the players supported by the owners decided to work hard and get promotion ASAP. And if we were to be in the Conference I’d rather we were top rather than having two poor seasons and be fighting against relegation to the National South like Chesterfield have done. (National North in their case) So yes fatherjack I get you saying that but in the end I’d rather be top than anywhere else if we have to be there. UTG!

Played 36 games top of the pile that was after the return of Chris Lines and the injury to Sinclaire, without those two things we may still be there like Torquay.

Hey we also got a new scoreboard. That sometimes works properly.

Don't get me wrong; I hate the thought of non-league Rovers. I hate also, however, the fourth division. I never enjoyed it like the third. My Rovers belong in the middle divisions: third when we're down, second when we're up. One place above our 1982 neighbours in the second division, with five-figure attendances every week, and no longer worried about owners or receivers, would be just dreamy.

We have best pitch outside the Premiership (maybe) and the best run Supporters Club organisation now.
That Conference season has been erased from my mind.....it never happened and does not count. Bradley Goldberg that is a name to forget for sure.

Lets be thankful we survived the Nick Higgs ownership. The end is inevitable, its just a case of when it happens. (I am Zen)

Yep that do for me as well, its also been a dream of mine for many a decade - To think five years ago we were non league and yet If only our owners had a tad of ambition - We had a really good chance for promotion under D***til the snake was sold - Again couple of months ago under GC still in 2 cups and in real time second in league - So its certainly possible in the near future after all who wants to support Liverpool or Man City Premier league and Champions League Ha! - much rather be in the second tier with two local derbies every season and bragging rights........

If so, I despair more than before.
