12th August 2023 - The Hundred Men and Women Results - at Lords, London - Trent Rockets Women won the toss and decided to field.
London Spirit Women - 124-4 (100 balls) Gibson 36, Ghosh 20, A.Kerr 36 not out, Gordon 2-19
Trent Rockets Women - 127-5 (86 balls) N Sciver-Brunt 81 not out, Gardner 17 not out, Glenn 2-19
Trent Rockets Women win by 5 wicketsMatch Hero Sciver-Brunt: "After four games it's nice to get a win on the board and remember what that winning feeling feels like. "We have the batters to be able to chase that sort of total and we haven't shown that so far in the tournament. But it still took some chasing. "Jo came in and played really well, she faced a few dots but didn't get too flustered. It really helps when we can get that partnership. "We ran really well together and that did take the pressure off, and we knew we still had 10 balls to face with that short boundary on the leg side." ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/240/cpsprodpb/10A84/production/_130782286_gettyimages-1609644507.jpg.......................................................................................................................................................... 12th August 2023 - The Hundred Men and Women Results - at Lords, London - Trent Rockets Men won the toss and decided to field.

Trent Rockets Men - 193-5 (100 balls) Root 72 not out, Kohler-Cadmore 33, Sams 32, Worrall 2-23, Dawson 2-38
London Spirit Men win by 2 runsMatch Hero, London Spirit's Dan Lawrence: "With a boundary that is only 40 metres it's so hard to control any batter who gets going. "I thought our lads in the last 10 balls held their nerve really well and thankfully got over the line. "You've got to accept that some balls are going to go for six and then the next ball has to be your best ball again." On Joe Root: "He can play! Thankfully we managed to keep him off strike the last few balls. But he's brilliant and played some amazing shots today."

12th August 2023 - The Hundred Men and Women Results - at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - Southern Brave Women won the toss and decided to field.
Welsh Fire Women - 144-5 (100 balls) Dunkley 50, S.Bryce 44 not out, Adams 2-22
Southern Brave Women - 145-8 (100 balls) Bouchier 42, Mandhana 41, Adams 40, Ismail 2-19
Southern Brave Women win by 2 wickets
Southern Brave's Georgia Adams: "I'm on a bit of an adrenaline comedown, we've had a few nail-biters, so it was great to get over the line like that. "To restrict them to that score was pretty impressive. "It was probably about time I turned up with the bat this tournament, so it's great to get the team over the line, but when Smriti and Maia are batting the way they are and setting up the game like that, it does make it that fraction easier to come in. "It's a tournament of small margins, every little helps. It's a great win for us." ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/240/cpsprodpb/14DC8/production/_130784458_gettyimages-1609915291-1.jpgGeorgia Adams.............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. 12th August 2023 - The Hundred Men and Women Results - at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff - Southern Brave Men won the toss and decided to field.

Southern Brave Men - 91-1 (59 balls) Allen 31, Conway 35 not out, Du Plooy 17 not out
Southern Brave Men win by 9 wicketsA hat-trick from Southern Brave bowler Tymal Mills helped clinch a nine-wicket victory over Welsh Fire. An early collapse from the Fire saw them fall to 16-3, before Mills took four wickets, including an end-of-innings hat-trick. Southern Brave bowler Tymal Mills on BBC Two: "I don't like to shout about it but it was a nice day and a nice [birthday] present. "We've had a scratchy start, a game rained off, a close win, a close loss, got hammered by the Superchargers. We needed a win, we've got a few players sick and injured, we don't play now until Wednesday so hopefully we can get some players back. "James Vince is locked up in his room, he spent all day yesterday in bed and spent today in bed as well. Hopefully he is able to come back to Southampton with us. "In a way, we'd like to play again quickly after a performance like that." ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/240/cpsprodpb/10B06/production/_130785386_gettyimages-1610188455.jpgTymal Mills

It means a lot for the group. "When Devine started teeing off at the start I thought we were a bit short. She can win you a game off the back of her bat. Credit to her for the way she came out, but I have to mention our youngsters in the bowling line-up, they were brilliant. "Losing Dane is a massive loss for us and we know within this team what has happened when we've lost her previously. That's a brilliant thing about this group, that we've been able to stand up when we're one player short." ................................................................................................................................................................ 13th August 2023 - The Hundred Men and Women Results - at Headingley, Leeds - Oval Invincibles Men won the toss and decided to field.

Birmingham Phoenix captain Moeen Ali on Jamie Smith: "We have heard lot of about him but haven't seen a lot. We gave him the opportunity to bat three and he really stepped up today. He was brilliant tonight. "[Woakes] is a proper swing bowler and a bit old school with the way he bowls. He is great to have because even when he goes for runs he keeps calm." ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/480/cpsprodpb/0ED6/production/_130789730_gettyimages-1612288468.jpgJamie Smith

Match hero Tammy Beaumont, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a pretty good wicket, obviously, but I am glad we batted first. For a while I thought they were in the chase. Our bowlers did really well. "There was quite strong breeze towards the river Taff. Anything at that end I just tried to get under it and into the wind. "I said if any team that can pull it off it is the Rockets. We had to bowl well. Freya Davies, at the end that was really difficult to defend, was absolutely outstanding."

Match Hero Colin Munro: "We've got some strikers at the end so we try and make sure they get a platform. I'm lucky some came out of the middle because It wasn't a pretty first 20 balls. "It was nice to get some runs and contribute because it has been a lean couple of games. It's nice to get that over the line because we've lost a couple of close ones. "I thought John Turner bowled really well on debut. It was outstanding the way he bowled to Joe Clarke, who is a top-class talent."

London Spirit captain Heather Knight, speaking to Sky Sports: "The way we contained them in the powerplay was awesome, Danielle Gibson was excellent and then Tara Norris backed her up. "We felt like we've been close to our best. It's hard to find form when you get rained off for the first couple like we did. "Hopefully it will give the girls plenty of confidence going forward now." Match Hero, London Spirit's Tara Norris: "Momentum was on our side and Lauren Filer put in a great shift at the end, hitting a few boundaries. "We definitely had that momentum and our bowlers were clinical. "Hopefully we've peaked at the right time - we're just hitting our form. We've got a few games left and we're still hoping to qualify."

The Spirit needed six to win from the last delivery but although Matt Critchley could only hit a single, they got a second chance when Sam Curran was shown to have bowled a no-ball. With three to win and two to tie for Spirit, Curran bowled Chris Wood and secured a thrilling win. Victory moves Invincibles four points clear at the top of the men's table. Match Hero, Oval Invincibles' Will Jacks: "What a crazy finish. I thought we'd won it twice, but I'm just glad we got over the line in the end. "I knew I was going to be under the pump with the ball but I try to think like a batter in those situations, and think what would I not want to face. "We'll take a lot of confidence from these last two wins where we've defended well."

16th August 2023 - The Hundred Men and Women Results - at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton - Southern Brave Women won the toss and decided to bat.
Southern Brave Women - 132-4 (100 balls) Wyatt 43, Mandhana 39, Bouchier 19, Arlott 2-22

Southern Brave Women win by 3 runsichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/240/cpsprodpb/D8C3/production/_130819455_gettyimages-1618932096.jpgSouthern Brave moved back to the top of the table with victory over winless Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred. An opening stand of 84 between Danni Wyatt and Smriti Mandhana got the Brave off to a good start at the Ageas Bowl. Phoenix fought back on a slow, turning surface to restrict them to 132-4. The visitors were going well before the run out of Amy Jones derailed the chase and, after Erin Burns' late flurry, the Brave held on for a win that lifts them above Welsh Fire at the summit. After a fourth win in a row, Brave are now on the brink of securing a top-three finish and qualification for the knockout stages, with fourth-placed Oval Invincibles unable to catch them. Manchester Originals and London Spirit need to win all their remaining games just to match Brave's current points tally. Match Hero, Southern Brave batter Danni Wyatt on BBC Two: "Smriti and I are very different. We don't really talk much out in the middle, we just keep it very simple and she's so laid back which makes me love batting with her." Southern Brave batter Smriti Mandhana on BBC Two: "It was amazing, the crowd was into it and when you come out on top in those close games, it's pretty special. "When the pressure is on and the crowd is cheering for you, that really helps you keep going and get over the line." Southern Brave captain Anya Shrubsole on Sky Sports: "We're finding ways to win and people contribute all the way through. That top three have been brilliant. Lauren's set of five at the end was outstanding. "You look at little things like that that make the difference, Maia Bouchier's run out as well. We just seem to be winning those small moments."

Phoenix, who have won just one game from six, made 119-8 on a tricky pitch, with Rehan Ahmed and Tymal Mills taking three wickets each. Brave were well on top in the chase before faltering late on, losing two wickets with just one run needed. But Phoenix's Dan Mousley bowled a wide to hand Brave victory. Southern Brave spinner Rehan Ahmed on BBC Two: "That first wicket of Jamie Smith was my favourite. He is such a good player so it was nice to get one sliding under his bat. "Sometimes when you know you've got a spinning wicket, you put more pressure on yourself because you're expected to take wickets. But I tried to relax because I knew the wicket would help me out." Birmingham Phoenix captain Moeen Ali on BBC Two: "It was one of those where the wicket wasn't ideal but we had to adapt. "It would've been nice to get another 10 or 15 runs. All the games have been close, all the teams are strong now and it's good for the competition." Match Hero, Southern Brave's Tymal Mills on BBC Two: "That went a little bit closer than we would have liked but I was confident that eventually we would get one away. "We started slowly but that was the case in the first year and we went on to win the whole thing."

Chasing a lowly 108, the Rockets lost just one wicket as they reached their target with 36 balls to spare. Lizelle Lee (44*) impressed alongside Bryony Smith and then Nat Sciver-Brunt, finishing the match with a six. Originals had won the toss and chosen to bat, but only Deandra Dottin (30) fired for the visitors. The Rockets move up to fourth in the table, but are three points short of the knockout places with two games to play. Trent Rockets captain Nat Sciver-Brunt on Sky Sports: "I said at the toss we haven't played our best cricket yet so it was nice to have a calm game. I didn't feel chaotic in the bowling innings and then the openers set it up nicely and I came in and finished it off. "We've prepared in the same way, we just executed our skills. We didn't do that on Monday against Welsh Fire. It was nice to have bowlers bowling to their plans." On Katherine Sciver-Brunt: "Injuries are pretty uncertain. She tried a different tactic, having spoken to the physio and doctor before the game, that gave her the best chance to bowl without pain. It was more the striding up than the bowling itself and I know most batters hate her process bowling." Match hero Bryony Smith: "I've bowled a few tough sets but I'm glad with how it is coming out. We talked about being positive with the bat and taking each ball as it came and not letting the dots build up. That has been our approach throughout the tournament so I'm glad it's come off."

It came down to who held their nerve at the end. It was a good game of cricket. "A lot of top-order batters have struggled in this competition - maybe it is the ball or pitches, whatever - but it is nice to put my side in a good position. "Tournament play is about peaking at the time right. Every team will be wanting to play their best cricket at this stage. This year and last year have always been identical. The only difference is we've got Jos [Buttler] this year. Hopefully we'll keep putting one front in front of the other and make the play-offs."

Northern Superchargers' Kate Cross on Sky Sports: "Yeah - nine times out of 10 you're catching that. So I felt a bit for Tara because that meant that the Spirit can't qualify and you could see how disappointed she was.
"But we're just finding ways to win at the minute. So it's great to be in the Superchargers camp."
Match Hero Phoebe Litchfield: "I'm so glad we just got it done in the end. Georgia Wareham, Jemimah [Rodrigues] at the top and then Kate Cross at the end, it was definitely a team win.
"It has been awesome to score runs and win games. I've loved my time at Superchargers. To get into the knockouts is really exciting and I'm really keen to get back down to London and take on whoever we take on."

Match Hero Bopara: "It was nice until the rain came and we thought we would have to bowl 20 balls with a wet ball. But it was a great game. All the games in this tournament have been close and tonight felt close as well. "This bowling attack has played so many games at Lord's so we know these wickets can be tacky and the slower balls do work, but you can't be too predictable. It was a must-win for us today."

Bryony Smith smashed 64 from 40 balls including 10 fours to help Rockets reach 134-6 at Trent Bridge. Amy Jones hit a fine unbeaten 46 from 30 balls in reply, but Phoenix fell just short of their target. Despite the victory, Rockets need to win their final game and hope Welsh Fire lose both their remaining matches to have any chance of qualifying. Phoenix, who are already eliminated, remain bottom and without a win in this year's tournament. Match Hero Bryony Smith: "It was a good day. It's been a good few days for us as a team and we're making sure we're still in it. "We know our job as openers is to score quickly and we're looking to take the really positive option all the time and score runs. "They bowled really well towards the end, taking all the pace off the ball and it was hard to score. We got up to a good score in the end. "It was a bit closer than we hoped at the end but we were calm. We knew what we wanted to do and it came off. I was just concentrating on executing my plans in the final set and thankfully it went our way today."

On a tricky, two-paced pitch at Trent Bridge, Rockets were lifted to 162-6 by 34 from Colin Munro and Sam Hain's 30. Though Jamie Smith looked fluent for 38, Phoenix were left with too much to do when he was lbw to Matt Carter and eventually stumbled to 116-9. Rockets move to second, but have played one game more than most of the rest. With seven points, the Rockets have got to win their last game, against Oval Invincibles on Monday, and hope other results go their way. Phoenix, beaten finalists two years ago, remain at the foot of the table and will conclude their campaign against London Spirit on Thursday. Rockets batter Colin Munro told BBC 2: "It was awesome. We came out today knowing it was must-win and we have to win the next one. It was a great crowd and they got us over the line. "We weren't shocked to be batting first. It doesn't matter what you do, you just have to do it well. "It helps when you know you have to win. It puts you in the frame of mind knowing that whatever you do you have to do it well. We have to go to The Oval and do exactly what we did tonight." Phoenix batter Jamie Smith: "It was a tough day for us. Rockets were better than us with the bat, ball and in the field and deserved the win. "The wind affected some of our fielding at times. It can also help with the batting if you hit with the wind. "It's disappointing. You go into a tournament hoping to get through and win, but we haven't done that."

Match hero Tom Curran: "It's a big win so we're really pleased with that. "It's hit or miss at the end there. Just stay still and swing hard! But when it comes off like today, it's really valuable. "I think we bowled really well because the wicket got better under lights. When they bowled, they bowled that heavy length and it skidded on. "You come to these tournaments to try to qualify. It makes it that much more special to finish top and go straight through to the final." Invincibles captain Sam Billings talking to Sky Sports: "We didn't want it to go on till Monday and wanted to get everyone fit and ready for that game next Sunday. "Really great effort from the boys and we've deserved it. We've played some really great cricket."
