If you give Ollie anything below an 8 I will contradict you!
ONE misplaced pass in my memory. He was all over the midfield today.
I know you don’t like him but I think he was the difference prior to the sendings off.
One bad pass on 82 mins. Can’t remember anything else that wasn’t positive.
I look forward to a glowing report!

He was poor tonight. Sorry. Gave the ball away more than once when we needed to keep it against 9. Not sure exactly what he's supposed to do with the ''formation'' we play. The poor bloke is often stood there, during transition (when we lose the ball) in the correct place, but with no other Rovers' player within 15 yards of him. He does well not to give away foul after foul just to break up play so that whatever system we are supposed to be playing can get itself back into shape. Play this garbage against a team like Sunderland and they'll just run straight through our 1 man midfield. Ref keeping the ball against 9 players, what was happening in front of Ollie was nothing short of disgraceful from everyone apart from JCH and Tyler Smith. Players either went wide and then stood still or went and stood on an opposition player's shoulder. No attempt to pull defenders out of position. No attempt to move the ball quickly. No work to create space for other people to play in. It was painful to watch

No leader on the pitch little movement we still look like a team of strangers. We cry out for width and pace yet Rodman once again never set foot on our fantastic playing service. Overall we struggled to overcome nine men. JCH still to get match fitness but took his goal well.

Harder to break down, best to keep possession and be patient.

I was ok with the first half, and understood the fear of conceding against 10 then 9 men football in the second half. (Pompey last night may have been going for a 4th, and lost their lead against 9 men)

Gregory, Steve is a poster on this site. His word isn't gospel. Don't worry about the inevitable slagging of Ollie or any other Bristolian who plays more than 5 times for us.

And yes, I know the alternative view that a short runout might have been beneficial.

Would add love to see the stats, would guess Ollie covered more of the pitch and did more sprints than anyone else in the team. Yes he could be more consistent and make less mistakes but if he was he would not be here. am still struggling with Abu, not sure he wins as many challenges as he is given credit for, but he seems to hide when we have the ball which as stated above gives Ollie few options on a pass...

Steve has opinions like the rest of us and because he uses lots of words doesn't make his opinion more valid.

Sorry to disappoint you but its only my opinion of the game as I saw it. The joy of football is that everyone can have different views. Personally feel that Ollie Clarke will never be a consistent performer and will have one good game,1 average game and 3 poor ones in 5 games. I thought and hoped last season that there was a change and we would see a more consistent player but then he drifted back and the same can be said for this season. We need a new central midfielder who can dominate the attacking part of midfield with Upson doing the defensive duties like last night and pass to our players.Maybe then we can have either Ogogo or Rodman depending on what type of game it is. Just my opinion.others will see it differently and there is nothing wrong in that- at the end of the day only GCs opinion really matters!!

Yea right, good luck with getting the 2019 version of Scholes or Vieira to come and play hoofball in the 3rd division. Try watching the players that the opposition have, 3rd tier players play in the 3rd tier.

Little and Holmes-Dennis would make a big difference to this team...both would be cracking wing backs in this division. Add a creative midfielder and we're not a bad side
