Balanta is still a free agent, he didn't stay at Crewe or Bradford (or wherever he was) and is now on trial at Cheltenham.
Wonder if he's still a possibility?

Not sure that's strictly true as surely he'll want to sign for a club sooner rather than later, as once the window closes clubs usually forget about signing players until the next window opens.

IIRC free agents can be signed at any time, though this might have changed.
