Well it has been a while since I gave those on here that are interested (or just bored for something to read) an update on my status.
Since returning to Australia in 2015 to provide assistance to a friend that was struggling, time has flown. The things I have missed in the UK, friends and football, have made life here a bit of a struggle. The friend recovered enough for me to relinquish that duty but my Mum was diagnosed with dementia so I became her full time carer. She reached her 90th birthday in March and three weeks later she passed away.
Since that time my sisters and I have been preparing her house for sale. It finally went on sale on Thursday, and today we had an offer which we are going to accept.
This means that sometime in December or January I will be back in the UK to once again watch Rovers. Hopefully by then they will have climbed their way up the table somewhat.
