Half hour MOTD highlights from 1980 with Barry Davies amazing analysis interviews and commentary.
Souness and Johnson out so Liverpool bring in Lee and Fairclough, the latter scoring a hat trick to give Bob Paisley a selection headache.
Lee played alongside Kennedy Case and McDermott in midfield.
That goal from Fashanu still gives you goosebumps with Davies commentary and an unbelievable camera angle making it Goal of the Season.
Interviews before with John Bond who gives good insight and after Fairclough Thompson and Fashanu.
Lovely comment when Davies tells Fashanu that Thommo said it was the best goal he'd seen this season. He says 'that's all he gave me all afternoon ' massive mutual respect.
To be honest Fashanu was poor and his only decent touch was that volley and you can see why he didn't suit Forest. What was Cloughie thinking to pay £1m?
Worth a look if you get a chance. Really good programme and match.

Really good programme and match. Not the full program but match highlights. Love the lack of shirt sponsorship, frenetic pace, no diving (well maybe one but it wasn't given) and I'd forgotten about those blue three-wheeled invalid cars that seemed to be at every ground in the 70's and 80's. One thing that I don't miss is the crappy state of the pitches back then, there were some shockers in that era, Derby's County Ground always comes to mind as the worst.
