Is this our first millenium born player to play a league match? Is he that young ? Wow. Great experience for the lad and hopefully will give some competition to the existing MF. Still feeling quite ashamed of myself that I’d not heard of him & thought we had brought in a free agent lol. Seriously! My enthusiasm has been somwhat tempered by seeing the 82’s scoreline but we all know it means nothing until the last whistle. Ah sorry, fake news.....apparently LR was born in 1999!

What dust mean me old babs ? Not sure what you're referring to, Kp? My factitious Nichols question (MKD keeps is our previous loan player v impotent waste of money)? Or Some were saying Scunny goal was partly down to Smith as it went under his body, hence Slocombe regaining his keepers' place? The former was what I was asking and you have answered me with this, thank you. I really must learn to regiment my Meds better. I’m really not with it am I ! Lol. Seriously, thanks for that. I’d have not got it at all otherwise

Nabbed this from someone's Twitter feed. Ellis' goal from the stadium camera, nice little run and then a weak foot shot (possibly cross) looping over the keeper with a cheeky panache. Enjoy. Shooting from there - who does he think he is? He must have known the keeper was dodgy. Oh - it's Lee Nichols. Fairy nuff.

The premature death of his brother really screwed him up and when I saw the interview, when we git him, I felt like I wanted to give him a hug. A death in the family affects everyone differently and it certainly had him in bits. When he said hopefully I can get back to the player I know I can be a give tribute to my brother, I had tears streaming. I wish him nothing but the best but I’m a fan so have the comfort & ability to deal with my “stuff” out of the gaze of an F.C. some of the dogs abuse he gets is beyond the pale IMO but the, you never get it until you go through it. Id love to see him do really well as he seemed very much a lost soul in that interview. Glad to see him being given the nod I didn't know about that I’m not surprised to be honest as I’ve had the same reaction from others. They were extremely close and the interview made me emotional as you could see he seemed ashamed, if that’s the right way of explaining it ? It was very clear that he wanted the chance to reinvigorate his career. Must be difficult trying with fans on your back but this is no game fir the faint of heart

FT 1-0 to us! Ellis the man.
Thanks to the fans that got the match on to allow us to win, to hopefully pop a nail in MKD 3rd division coffin.
Well done everyone whom travelled, we heard you sing hearts out! (didn't hear much from home end).
Make it back safely, a good, good win and by sounds of it thoroughly well deserved (especially as MKD m o m was Nicholls, their keeps!).
Dare we dream?

This was better than Walker's 2nd against Shrews, that ball was bouncing so Richard had something to work with. We've just seen our goal of the season. If Sanchez or Aguero does that, all of the MOTD presenters would be running around the studio with their willies out saying how only a player worth £100m and playing in the Super Duper PL can possibly do such a thing.

Hope not, if it did he'll be dragged over the coals for it in about 30 years time.

I was pleased to see that DC went into the game with such an attacking mindset. According to the BBC even our goalkeeper was in the opposition half 1/4 way through the match.
23' Sam Slocombe (Bristol Rovers) wins a free kick in the attacking half.

So Franchise XI had the heating on for the under soil since Tuesday, cleared the ground of snow (by what might be called real supporters, but MK Dons is not a real club,) got all the hospitality in place, will not get cash from cancelled tickets...and they lost - oh dear, how sad, never mind.

It wasn't a brilliant goal but a cross that didn't swerve to the bloke at the far post as he intended. He p*ssed himself afterwards and made a swerving motion with his hand towards the bench laughing. They all count though and that's what matters. I'd be giving their goalie a rollicking if I was their manager. We deserved the win though in what was an open game. We looked comfortable on the ball and they weren't much cop and looked as though they knew it. I thought DC was overcautious in bringing on the substitutes when he did. Our wide men were keeping their midfielders busy and we could have sealed it with another goal instead of having to defend a one goal lead at the finish when they gained a bit of momentum and looked like they might grab something, but we held out. I don't know where the Gaffney was brilliant came from. He did his usual sideways, backwards routine and wasted a bit of time at the cornerflag.

Well done to the team for getting 3 points and to all the supporters who went (we didn't go). I saw that lad Russe play a few times and he looked good, theres a couple of younger players that might get a chance towards the end of the season I think.

Four of our academy products played Lines, Lockyer Harrison and now Russe. First starts for Slocombe, Moore and Clarke J for many months. Dc wishing to freshen up the side.
