I think you must have posted in the wrong place, the common sense forum is elsewhere. It's not the fact that we've lost a few games, everybody knows that the upwards trajectory couldn't continue forever, it's the nature of the defeats that's got people a bit worried. What was it, 12 goals in 3 games, 2 of those against L2 teams and one against West Ham's kids, one of them even played 20 mins with 10 men and still scored against us. I think I'm right in saying that in the League there are only 4 teams who have let in more goals. In the top 4 divisions, including cup competitions, nobody has let in more than us. It's no big surprise that we are losing games and people are talking about it.Of course, I just find quite a few of the posts a little hysterical. For what it's worth, I don't think the defeats to West Ham and Swindon really count. The one that really disappointed me was the Notts County game, not being able to hold a 2 goal lead against a lower division team in a cup competition that still means something to many of us was very annoying.

In the last 6 league games, we have conceded 7 goals, 4 of which were in one game. If that improvement continues and King Billy returns and gives us more creativity and goals, we'll fly up the table.

Thought Brown at fault for goal with tentative header. At the time I thought smither should have come for the ball and having seen it on television still think the same. It was a looping ball to the edge of 6 yard box and should have been meat and drink to a keeper 6.5 feet tall Though the cross did not travel far, so think he had little time to decide and get there. Not sure on the others where he came but the defenders went as well. Seemed a few communication issues with back 5.

Good to see that you’re trying to keep up to date with Bristol football. Whilst refusing to watch the 82ers until Johnson is sacked.

Such a shame as a 0-0 would have been a great result after all the goals we have conceded this season. On a positive note it looks like we have found 2 very promising centre-backs. Yes - on October 7th. They both featured v west brom pre-season but ive seen enough of broadbent to form a tentative view that he looks a promising signing and heard good things about menayese as well as watching him in development squad games.
