Needs to go back to the drawing board IMO. Hope to see a different formation next time out. And why persist with Nichols while Dom Telford appears to have been brought here just to get splinters in his arse? Nichols, another game with no goals, and from what I've seen, he's a long way off of being ready to play at this level. It's like starting with 10 players, only it's worse because you expect him to do something, instead he just gets in the way a bit.

Can't think of any other reason why we are so s**t in defence other than the fact yates has left.

All well and good but as far as I can see not one shot on target thus far Telford is on that should change. Thus far? Using the wrong log in?

'Rovers not yet really threatened the Shrewsbury goal' per RadBris after 89 minutes
Taming of the Blues, I think

As much as DC and most of us like Locks as a player he is no captain and surely needs a rest as captain and as a starter. I know Sweeney and Broadbent are left footed but they cope better with physical attackers.
We are too nice in midfield not enough bruisers like other league one sides.
Goals concede column looks bad now as it did last season. It needs addressing.

Well we can at least celebrate a magnificent draw in the second half. 😂

We sold Taylor for £300k his replacement Nichols cost £280k and as yet has failed to score in 13 matches. Everyone says he will score loads when he starts but can we wait that long. January window must see us sign a new proven striker.

Mmm. One would like to think a thumping 6-0 away win would give the team bags of confidence to kick on and progress. a 1-0 home defeat and a thumping away suggests otherwise. Odd, apart from the conclusion as previously mentioned, Cobblers must have been seriously crap! They were dire.

Not back yet.
That was completely sh*t and you sir, Mr DC are a *git* for serving up that drivel to a fair few supporters whom chose to dedicate their time and hard earned and make a mistake to trust in dc for such a performance.
We should all be refunded.
There comes a time where things aren't working and yet still persevere and they still don't work. Hey presto, dc gas to take responsibility for the constant individual errors our defence makes.....because he still picks Lockyer and the whole world knows his form has dipped. I would also question his captaincy role. Not once tonight did I see rolling up of sleeves, passion or vocal encouragement.
Other woeful performances.. Ollie Clarke. Partington. Lines. Nichols. Whole defence. Dc by continuing to play Nichols.
Better.. Bola. Serco.
Best. Ellis.
Totally outplayed in every department, Gas. Not buying the card it was better in second half hogwash....shrews had game won and happy to let us play.
Will look for a response v Rochdale but not holding breath. Disgraceful statues, some of em don't deserve to pick up their pay packet. Grrr..

Never been a prolific goalscorer though I agree

we have been pointless against the top six clubs would be more but we have not played Rotherham yet. Paul Hurst DCs mate manager of Shrews signed 14 new players over the Summer. No time to gel and they still are unbeaten. Please someone explain this ?

Nicholls like Luke James is out of his depth. Perhaps but don't miss the point he would needed to have scored 5 for us to have won

If I said Bollox to you, you'd take it personally wouldn't you; think its a bit much saying that to DC. Are you now saying its time to turn on the manager? If you do, you don't have my vote.
