Yes I thought Montano was unlucky not to be kept and I don't keep an eye on if he's playing or not at PV. But Port Vale are bottom of the league, I'm not saying it's Montys fault but he obviously hasn't set them alight.

Watching from tv, it appeared we deserved to lose to a team that constantly got behind our defence and made it look easy to make us look vulnerable.
Yes we had our moments, and defensively, I thought we didn't perform as a team, even though technically (on replay) some controversy is fair with offside.
Positives..
Ellis, Ellis Harrison! Another brilliant run around that obvious wasn't his day but got his head on almost everything. Worked hard. Just acted like lone striker.
Nicols work for our goal. Quick turn of pace, brilliant strike and unlucky to score.
Slocombe. Made a few saves, some straight at him because of his good positioning and not at fault for any concessions.
Bodin. Stuff your £500k, he's worth so much more.
360odd Gas. True heroes supporting us so far from Bris. Maybe some of the 66 were there? Your sins have been absolved! Haha! If you were one of 66 that weren't there, why the f not?! Haha! That's worse! Haha!
Negatives..
Burn. Asleep for the headed goal as fella was being marked by him before corner was taken, but was left in no man's land by the time ball hit the net as was lost.
Leads. Kind of anonymous for first goal where you would expect support from where the pop came in from. There were two there!?
Ollie Clarke. Difficult game to give him captaincy of. Not sure he was instrumental enough as a motivational skipper. Maybe his own form suffered as a result as I saw him give ball away. He did have a good shot just wide in anger, early in second half.
DC got it wrong for me. 4-3-3 was all wrong v Bradford and was too slow to change an ineffective Moore (apart from nice header when should score in first half). I thought with 3defenders on bench we should 3-5-1-1 and packed out our overrun mid in first half. Not with hindsight, I said it when we were under cosh on 9minutes.
Just think we didn't give a good account for ourselves. We looked lackluster and lethargic in defence/mid. Too slow to react, too predictable going forward. Beats by a much better team.
I'm sure some of you watched it differently to me. I saw a shaky performance and alot of work to do..

Yet here in actual Sweden I couldn't see the game. Broadcast on ViaPlay which I don't have, so not broadcast in iFollow, which, for increasingly unsure reasons, I do. Bristol Rovers är fruktansvärt dåligt på bortaplan, förresten... Shows what they know. We weren't playing förresten, we were playing Brædfjørden. |

I think that sums it up very well and I am in total agreement. SteveK was given an hard time about it yet we have had plenty of time to get the player or players we needed. Letting Montano go now looks quite daftt, in my opinion anyway but what do I know ? I'm just a fan. I feel sorry for the gasheads who are travelling back now. If the montano decision was wrong he will obviously prove dc wrong by becoming a top league one player in the near future and at least be a top performer at port vale so we will see. Burn is not a development squad player. Thing about stevek or anyone else saying we need 3 or 4 players after we signed 8 is who do these punters think we are? Barcelona or something? But it was DC who said we would see 10-14 players in |

But it was DC who said we would see 10-14 players in I thought it was 10 but that interview and the hamer top 6 budget thing has created a problem with expectations. I think the transfer market and salary expectations have caught the club on the back foot but might be wrong of course. |
