Think Ellis will be shipped out on loan in this window. Just a poor player imo who is playing a level above his capabilities. Always on his heels, no awareness, no football brain, can't win a 50/50 header, no bravery, spends too long on the floor...I could go on...time to head off some place else Ellis and good luck Right, OK,so Leadbitter was solid,Lockyer dominant, Bodin dazzling... I could go on...

We miss Matty Taylor and have done so since he went to the dark side We miss his hold up play, ability to bring others into the game let alone his goals As for Ellis he has enough opportunities to cement a merited place in the team but still falls short imo and lacks the correct movement on and off the ball ... his control is poor Lines is lightweight only good enough as a playmaker if he plays alongside two strong midfielders of the team today only Sercombe Bodin and possibly Sweeney derserve praise Shirley ....Gaffers deserves some praise as well as the groundsman ...super playing surface

Just felt that peterbro tactics of 2 quick forwards chasing everything down and a clever player just behind the forwards totally confused us today,we just didnt cope with it at all. Felt sad when some cheered when ellis was subbed i thought that only happened on the the other side of town. Sercombe played very well in my view with brown and bodin also decent.

Of the three you mention I would suggest that they really struggled first half.

He's not going to improve and if you think he's good enough to play at this level then fine I respect your view, however I think he's nowhere close to being good enough for all the reasons I said earlier and more. Hope he gets shipped on.

Mostly agree, after 35 minutes the 3 mentioned got on the ball and looked to create with sercombe and bodin both a bit unlucky with powerful shots on target[bodins was the bar].

Not convinced by 4 3 3. Posh easily found us out, pressed hard, player on the hole picking us apart. Every player was making mistakes. They then list confidence and hardly any one wanted the ball. Ellis at fault for all 4 goals! Got to be taking the mick. 1) Leadbitter dived in at his man (#7 in the red boots) and it went badly from there. 2) Sweeney tried a long pass along the floor down the middle which was cut out. 3) Corner flicked on and Taylor was stronger than our defender 4 ) Sercombe gave the ball away and Brown was out of position trying to attack
I know there's this anti-Ellis agenda currently, as witnessed with the racism allegations, but your personal problem with him can't just force incorrect options to be right!

I explained early the post was sarcastic because of the continual blame he receives. Others agreed with the sentiment! Still your comments fit in with a lot on here, misinterpretation and failure to read all comments!

I was arguing with some dickheads on the other forum about the racist abuse and must've been blinded by that still. You're right though, symptomatic of other people who rush to be outraged!
