It's interesting how social media are replacing the press' role in challenging opinions and assumptions of people and entities. The 90's media appear limp, bound by schedules and coe=dde, and end up summmarising the days gossip and events from the forums.
However, the forums are unregulated and some of the posts in the last 12 hours have not been factual or at the very least substantiated with evidence. This is what the press have been historically good at.
The role of a football club chairman can be a lot more testing with fans constantly pressing for info. I'd far go up against shareholders than a bunch of football fans.
