Yet again it seem that DC will have try his luck at getting any good loan or free players as the club hasn't got money to give for any new players,,,f**kING JOKE,,,how we ever going to move on or even push for promation at this rate🤔😡would be very surprised if Darrel stays this time.

Because we've not signed 8 players before June.
The Peterborough chairman said the majority of players/agents take the pish during May.
Even the last time we did our business early, during the successful Buckle era, we didn't make a signing before June.

BRFC have always pulled the shutters down every May & June, have never understood why, but under the new regime it's very much same old, same old.

P'boro have already signed two decent non league strikers in May, given we need 10+ signings you'd have thought 1 or 2 may have been signed already.

Stewy2016 works at the London hotel DC was staying in to meet SH & WAQ to discuss the budget. He was handing out the bottles of water when SH accused DC of spending the budget by eating a mars from the mini bar in his room!! ....in other words it's going to be a loooooooooooonnnnnnnggggg summer of impatience and wind up posts. Chill out time

So now we are upset we are not signing non league players! My point was about not signing players in May but wouldn't you be happy if we'd just signed Miller on a "free", given he had a £250K price tag in January.

I was interested to read aberdeen manager derek mccines saying his club only had 42k per week playing budget for the whole squad and noticed one of there better players was joining mk dons. With this in mind im thinking mk dons probably pay better than aberdeen and more obviously bristol rovers. Is our budget similar to say aberdeen and maybe walasall? I believe its salary more than transfer fees that will get us better quality than the outgoing players next season, for me its trying to get a few borderline championship players as the main targets well as looking for gems lower down and sweeney type loans that can push us on.

Can you imagine the outrage if we'd signed two non-league players? Folk would assume that was us done for the season and proof positive that that was the only market we could operate in. All would be doom and gloom and clothes would be rent asunder. This sort of miserable white noise will always be there whatever, so best to filter it out.
Incidentally, I think the OP is most definitely a non credible witness.

Peterborough have signed two players. That's them winning the league by a country mile, then. Whack your money on.

Absolutely - it is well known that his namesake is a city fan, so not a very clever attempt at subterfuge.
