linkAbove is a link to the minutes of a consultation meeting to set up the Bristol Rovers Disabled Supporters Association. Have a read and give them a follow on twitter @bristolroversdsA really positive step for the club and it's disabled supporters and carers and relatives.

Hopefully can help me get a seat but I don't expect parking to be any different. I once tried to park in disabled bay due to my blue badge but was told these are booked AND paid for in advance. Surely asking for payment from someone with disability should be looked at

They could make the whole car park blue badge holders only and it would probably be filled. Don't want to offend you mate but when I bring my dad also have a blue badge and know we will have no chance of parking in the stadium.

I just had no idea that blue badge holders had to pay but it's private land so nothing to do with normal traffic and parking rules. I have received lots of abuse when I park and use my badge. Invisible disease is something the majority will never understand and I really hope they never have to. Speak the truth and shame the Devil I say

As a family we are lucky whilst I and both my daughters have a chromosome disorder it could be 100 times worse. My father does not have a chromosome disorder and looks healthy but is not. My hope is when we do move to the UWE or wherever it has ample space for blue badge holders. As for paying for it, as long as it is the same price as others parking the I see no problem.

I'd have really had no problem paying at the mem but I was just shocked that there was a waiting list. The worst argument I ever saw, amongst our own fans, was in the East terrace where one person was in a wheelchair but had around 7-8 family members are carers that day. It was a sellout and people were literally pushed for space. It was bloody horrible as it turned very nasty indeed and could have been much worse. Luckily one steward did his job and sorted it. I am all for helping disabled people but some really do have family that take advantage of that. The language used that day was both vile and extremely inflammatory and it was very lucky no one threw a punch as the one guy did actually deserve it. I never thought I'd witness our own going at each other with such venom
