Wonderful day.Not really related but good to see Puddy doing well.
Barrow 0-0 Sutton United Sutton goalkeeper Will Puddy helped his side to a goalless draw at Barrow with his second straight clean sheet.
Puddy, who joined Sutton last week following Ross Worner's injury and Wayne Shaw's dismissal, was kept busy as Barrow asked the Bristol Rovers loanee plenty of questions.
The 29-year-old did well to deny Richard Bennett and then got a slice of luck when Liam Hughes' follow-up was headed off the line.
Bennett went close again after the break, forcing Puddy into a fine save with a low drive after 63 minutes, before Sutton had Roarie Deacon sent off with three minutes remaining.

It's difficult for Charlie to make the time for us when he's so busy killing Palestinian kids to be fair

Mention his old stamping ground of Withywood, that should do the trick . . . assuming that you want it to of course.

unless something has happened, then looks like some complete s**thousery at BCFC. The assistant manger and Head Scout sacked, but the little man in charge leading the failure is still in place as they still talk about the long term future

I mean from a fair way away it looks like quite remarkable incompetence. Irrespective of whether they stay up or not their owner has spunked a quite staggering amount of money to fail this badly, has attempted to corporatise the image of the club, has backed a manager to the hilt who as far as I can see has achieved very little in game and speaks like he just ingested one of those 10th rate middle management motivational handbooks you see on sale at airports and their biggest transfer move involved signing an unproven lower league striker. It just seems crazy to me - compare that to Cardiff say who were in a far worse looking position than City were at one stage and yet just calmly appointed Neil Warnock and let him get on with it. Obviously it's still in their power to turn this around but the direction of travel looks pretty dire and entirely self-inflicted - even Wigan won yesterday.

But didn't I hear Lord Guernsey say a week or so ago that he accepted that things weren't as he would have hoped at present within his franchise (B*FC and Bristol RFC presumably), but then went on to say that they will eventually get it right.
