Local match for us.Vale in decline.Rovers away form is dire so maybe a draw is on the cards. No fears about our defence these days but our strikers are struggling.Big pitch and expect Monty to turn it on.Will be great to hear Bristol accents in the Potteries. Bring it on.

This is one match I hope Moore takes part in. He hit the post at home v PV and I wonder if his confidence will receive boost v his previous employers?
Agree with op on Monty.
Keep with two up front and we'll get chances.
A tough match, but with Gas on tour and a fine bit of organising at the back, I fancy us to nudge it with a goal from set piece..
...maybe from Sweeney. Good luck us, COME ON YOU YELLOWS!

Radio Bristol for me today. I think today is another test for DCs tactical nous. The defence looks alot better, but we have to try and score a goal or two. I hope Luke James is back because if he is to become our main goal scorer,he needs games to get his eye in.

Fact of The Day:
Vale Park is the only football ground in the world where the width of the pitch is longer than the length of the pitch.

og Whispering Bob
not really his fault - had to try to get a boot on it - they are saying
sub-optimal debut
'a lead that Port Vale hardly deserve' per KB
