Better than nothing, which is what we'll have on the bench without him.

Why oh why did DC say that Easter was not going to be considered for selection again. Stupid statement at the time. DC statement January 19th. Made to look an arse January 31st.

What's said in the media is different to what's said to the players. I would wager a bet that Easter shall be playing in Easter.

DC also said we would have 2 signings in today. He also stated Puddy was on the bench at the weekend because Hedges had not been that good in the game he played in. So I expect Puddy to be on the bench again on Sat and DC to eat humble pie and tell Easter its all been a mistake and he is in the first eleven. Or maybe Hamer will play up front.

There must surely be a time when DC, much as I like him, can no longer be considered a young manager learning his trade. He is not there yet though as the handling of the six was bad and Easter may still be required. Hopefully he will reflect on it and not be so blunt in the future.
